Excellent taste of Lisbon - Excellent food tour with Rafael as my guide. I got his full attention as I was the only one on the tour and in that I was a bit disappointed as I was unable to share the experience with others. Rafael showed what he thought were the best venues to get the most authentic foods during my visit. Excellent tour!

Would do again! - Rafael was such a fun host! Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We felt like we not only got to try lots of different kinds of local cuisine, but also learned lot about the city and the different sections of Lisbon. At the end of the tour he went above and beyond, helping us plan our last 2 days in Lisbon.

A real WALKING food tour. - The food is great, but be prepared to do a LOT of walking. I’m sure this could be avoided if specified ahead of time, but we covered 6.5 miles and we were very tired at the end. Rafael was an amazing guide- he turned a normal food tour into a trek through the entire city. We got to see a lot of things we otherwise never would have, and were grateful for that! With that said, we’re tired!

More like spending the afternoon with your charming Portuguese friends & eating delicious foods. - Cristina and George were wonderful guides. We had a ball and made friends in Portugal and the food, well it was what you come to expect in Lisbon. Any food you love, in Lisbon they make it better. We had a great introduction to regional favorites and our lovely guides helped us make good deals on drinks and food to take home. We got much more than just a food tour, it was interesting cultural and historical stuff and the photos from vantage points along the route were the best of our visit.

Harold showed us the best of Porto! - Harold took us to the most wonderfully authentic places in Porto. Harold was knowledgeable and a generous host of the city. The food was delicious! I can’t stop thinking if the tastes and the locations. Take this tour with Harold.

Disappointed - We asked for an English speaking guide, and although Jafael was charming, he couldn’t speak much English so we really couldn’t talk about the culture or the origins of the food or the history of Lisbon. The choice of locations seemed disorganized. He changed his mind several times about where he was taking us. We didn’t understand the confusion because we thought food tour guides booked so that we could get in and out easily. At least the past few tours we’ve been on the restaurant had already reserved a table for us and were expecting us. It was quite expensive for the tour and we can only compare it to a different tour in Madrid. Our guy there was very organized and even had photos to show us of the history of the area and cost less money and it had more value in terms of the food served. The Madrid experience was organized, informative, and had better and more food.
