• Parque das Nações - Just 15 days after the conclusion of World Expo-98, the “Parque das Nações” emerged at the site of the exhibition. Through urban rehabilitation, this once neglected and rough area transformed into one of Lisbon’s most prestigious neighborhoods.

It boasts modern architecture, featuring cultural and business spaces from the Expo: the Vasco da Gama Tower, the Meo Arena (formerly the Atlantic Pavilion), the Camoes Theater, the Oceanarium, the Lisbon pavilions, and the Lisbon International Fair (FIL).

• Lisbon Cathedral - Saint Anthony’s Church was constructed in the 12th century by the order of D. Afonso Henriques, the first King of Portugal. It is located near the Lisbon Cathedral at St. Anthony’s birthplace. An ancient mosque once stood here before the city was conquered by Christians. The church has been damaged by earthquakes in Lisbon and has been remodeled over the years to appear as it does today.
