Lesser Known Lisbon Neighborhood Worth The Visit - Our private tour guide, Luis, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided a wonderful tour of the old and the newer neighborhoods of Campo de Ourique. He also suggested good restaurants and the award-winning pastel de nato shop. This was an off-the-beaten track tour that I would highly recommend after you have seen all the other major tourist sites.

Fascinating neighborhood walking tour - Our guide, a journalist and teacher, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Campo de Ourique neighborhood, leading us through the streets and behind doors to reveal its hidden treasures. Highly recommend.

Great, educational tour of Campo de Ourique - Detailed, tailored personal tour of Campo de Ourique. We moved to this neighborhood earlier this year but wanted to know more about the history of the area. Lus is very knowledgeable and showed us some interesting places that we had walked past a quite a few times but never noticed before.

A Champions League evening at the Mercado do Campo do Ourique - The Campo do Ourique covered market is really very pleasant and affordable in terms of price. The atmosphere is much more Lisbon than the time out. We tried both. I highly recommend.

Magnificent Guide and Tour - Luis is a remarkable historian, curator and enjoyable story teller, as well as sociable and gracious. His research and knowledge was stunning, we were truly captured by his mastery and the progression of the tour. We learned and saw so much that we wouldn’t have noticed walking the neighborhood by ourself. It’s such a vibrant community and knowing the history brought the past to life. Our Portuguese is limited to ola and obrigrada, Luis impressed us with his fluent English. We highly recommend this tour..and will be scheduling more tours with Luis in our future. Obrigada Luis…we had such a great day.

Another charming neighborhood - It is a very charming neighborhood of Lisbon. It is high, with beautiful squares, churches and seems to be a younger neighborhood due to the buildings present there.

Nice Residential Neighborhood - A very nice residential neighborhood with some typical services that you would expect, including some good restaurants. You can get here from the lower town via a tram. Nice place to stroll to see how the middle class lives.
