Guided by Chris & Barbara, the journey begins in their family-owned hazelnut grove with stunning views of Etna. Here, participants will savor local hazelnuts and various hazelnut creams crafted by a small family enterprise.
While relishing the serene countryside, guests will also engage in a guided extra virgin olive oil tasting, learning to identify premium olive oil and sampling two varieties accompanied by local bread.
The adventure proceeds to a family-operated Etna DOC winery, where guests will indulge in a tasting of four Etna wines paired with traditional Sicilian cuisine, while uncovering the winery’s history and the significance of Etna’s volcanic soil.
This intimate group experience spans approximately 4 hours, providing a genuine taste of life in the Etna region.
