- Balos Lagoon - The journey to Balos will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, enjoy an hour at the stunning turquoise waters. The breathtaking natural beauty and exotic scenery are sure to captivate you. The sea is shallow and warm, making it perfect for young children. In many areas, the sand has a charming pink hue due to countless crushed shells. Return to the boat for a refreshing drink, with our friendly staff ready to assist you. Gramvousa Island is located just across the way. Please ensure you return to the boat on time.
- Gramvousa Beach - Our next destination is the nearby “Island of Gramvousa,” where we will spend another hour. Gramvousa is renowned for its historic Venetian fortress, which still stands 137 meters above the beach. The fort was once used by pirates, and legend has it that a great treasure is buried on the island. The view from the top is breathtaking. If you plan to enjoy the 360-degree panoramic view, consider bringing sneakers, as there is only a trail leading to the summit. Additionally, an old shipwreck, abandoned years ago near the beach, has become a distinctive part of the landscape. Complimentary drinks are available on board. Welcome aboard and enjoy your trip!

Great tour!! - Excellent tour! Great way to get a taste of some of the highly rated beaches without worrying about transportation or crowds. Would recommend water shoes or sneakers for the 15-20 min hike at Gramuvousa for amazing views and towel for after Balos! Very fun driver with music and beverages available throughout. 1 hour at each spot was the perfect amount of time to get a feel for everything.

Amazing amount of time needed. - Amazing just the perfect amount of time. You don’t need 5 hours for this. Felt safe clean he had beer. And balos is a must seee!!!!

Exciting and relaxing in 1 outing - A super fun experience! The speedboat ride was fantastic. You fly over the waves at high speed: really spectacular for old and young! Friendly managers who know how to organize the trips at the quiet times of the day just before a cruise ship with 1,000 tourists docks! A cruise ship may be big, but it can't match the roller coaster experience with this speedboat! Highly recommended! Nice refreshing drinks on board! The 340 large steps to the Venetian fortress are high but the view of the top is well worth the effort. And the swim in the water at Balos Beach was nice and relaxing! Next time we try the jetsky at Fallassarna Activities! Undoubtedly also worth it.

Great way to see Balos! - This was a perfect afternoon activity for our group of 13! The boat ride was so much fun and our guide was wonderful! In my opinion, this was a much better way to see the sights rather than on a boat of 1000 people (which did arrive in Gramvousa as we were leaving). We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and seeing the sights in a smaller setting. Would definitely recommend and go back on our next trip to Crete!

Best Way for Quality Balos Beach Time - This experience is amazing for those who are interested in spending quality time at some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This is a super efficient way to get to Balos and Gramvousa beaches. If your goal is to have a long and leisurely luxury sailing trip, this is not for you. However, if your goal is to spend the time on the sand and natural beauty of Crete, I strongly recommend this experience. They are a well organized small group that gets you to the beaches in 20 minutes time. Parking is plentiful and it is not crowded at all. Everyone from the base to the boat was super professional and friendly. This tour may not be for everyone, but it certainly was amazing for what we were looking for!

Amazing 3 hour tour! Exciting boat ride!!! - Incredible tour and captain! They know the schedules of big boat tours (1,000 people!)-so we hit the lagoon and fortress just right! Doing a 3 hour tour worked perfect for our schedule and they were spot on time wise. Could not have asked for a better tour and friendlier team!!

Amazing water! - Remote location for pick up. Rent a car! You won’t regret it :) Check in was easy. Staff were friendly. Sit in back, lounge…you won’t regret that either. Both locations have remarkable water for swims. A bit rocky, water shoes are helpful. You’ll meet lovely people and swim in turquoise waters.
