Miraflores - Upon your arrival in Lima, our team will greet you at the airport arrivals terminal and provide a warm welcome before transferring you to your hotel. You will then have the remainder of the day to relax from your journey and begin exploring the city at your leisure.

Full Day Tour of Ica, Paracas, and Huacachina with Buggy, Sandboarding, and Ceviche Class with Tasting

Ica Region - Hotel pick-up in Miraflores is scheduled between 4:20 a.m. and 4:55 a.m. (for other locations, please coordinate with American Travel Peru). We will then travel to Paracas, reaching our first stop after a 3-hour and 30-minute drive.
9:30 a.m.: Our first stop is at the marina dock to pass SERNANP control and board sliders to the Ballestas Islands. We will visit “The Candlestick,” a mysterious sand formation, and then sail to the islands, home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins, glovebirds, and possibly dolphins.

Next, we will head to Ica (1 hour) to explore the “Cultur Pisco” winery, where we will enjoy lunch, a winery tour, and a delightful tasting of wines and piscos. We will continue to the Oasis of Huacachina for an exhilarating experience in dune buggies and sandboarding. Finally, you will have free time to explore the oasis, take photos, and shop. Return to Lima by 5:30 p.m.

Discovering the Historical Riches of Cusco: Featuring Four Remarkable Monuments

Cusco - In the morning, we will transfer you to Jorge Chavez Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and taken to your hotel (flight not included). Assistance will be provided upon arrival, and you will have free time to rest. At approximately 1:00 p.m., we will pick you up from your selected hotel to explore the city of Cusco and its four historical monuments. We will visit the highlights of the historic center and surroundings: Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Tambomachay, Qenqo, and Puca Pucara.

Our first stop will be the Qoricancha temple, known as the Temple of the Sun, a significant religious center of the Inca Empire and a symbol of Inca-Spanish fusion. We will then proceed to the four ruins of Cusco. At Sacsayhuamán, we will learn about this impressive Inca architectural masterpiece.

We will continue to Qenqo, an important Inca shrine, and Puca Pucara, known as the Red Fortress. We will visit Tambomachay, the Bath of the Inca, a site dedicated to water worship. The tour concludes in Cusco Square.

Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Salinera de Maras

Sacred Valley of the Incas - 6:30 a.m. Hotel pick-up near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. We will begin our tour, heading to the first complex, the Chinchero Archaeological Site, chosen by the Inca Tupac Yupanqui as a residence and where the local inhabitants continue textile activities today. Following this, we will visit the Salineras de Maras, renowned salt pools that serve the region’s consumption needs. Later, we will stop at a country restaurant to enjoy a buffet lunch. After our meal and re-energizing, we will visit the Ollantaytambo Complex, one of the Inca Empire’s towns that remains inhabited today. We will stay in Ollantaytambo before heading to the hot springs. In the afternoon, we will board a train to Machu Picchu village for an overnight stay.

Visit to Machu Picchu Archaeological Monument

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - At the designated time, you will proceed to the bus station to ascend Machu Picchu. We will take a bus for a 25-30 minute drive to the mountain’s summit, where the Machu Picchu citadel is located. This first view will leave a lasting impression. At Machu Picchu, we will embark on a guided tour lasting two and a half hours, uncovering the history, legends, and secrets of the site. We will explore passageways, alleys, and locations like the House of the Guardian to appreciate the Incas’ grandeur. With your camera filled with photos, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have approximately five hours of free time to dine and continue admiring the landscape before taking the train back. In the evening, we will take the train to Ollantaytambo and then proceed to Cusco.

Excursion to Humantay Lagoon with Lunch and Entrance

Humantay Lake - At 4:20 a.m., after picking you up at your hotel in Cusco, we will travel by bus to the Humantay Lagoon in the Andes Mountains. After a two and a half hour journey, we will stop in Mollepata (3000 m) for a hearty breakfast. We will then continue to Soraypampa (3900 m), where we will begin a two-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, a turquoise gem surrounded by glaciers.

During the ascent to 4200 m, we will enjoy the Andean flora and fauna. Upon arrival, we will admire the breathtaking scenery before descending to Soraypampa. Returning to Mollepata, we will savor a buffet lunch before heading back to Cusco. The tour concludes in Plaza Regocijo after 13 hours of adventure.

Colorful Mountain Excursion or Vinicunca

Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:20 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco to embark on an unforgettable journey. After a two and a half hour drive, we will arrive at Tintinco, where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast before continuing to Llacto. From there, we will begin the trek through Rainbow Mountain, ascending between peaks and observing alpacas, sheep, and vicuñas.

After an hour and a half of climbing, we will reach Vinicunca, the stunning Mountain of Seven Colors. You will have time to capture this unique landscape in photographs before starting the descent. Returning to Tintinco, we will enjoy a buffet lunch before heading back to Cusco, where the excursion will conclude at Plaza del Reocijo around 4:30 p.m.

We will take the night flight from Cusco to Lima. American Travel Peru will book the flight.
