- Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor) - The Plaza de Armas is another highlight! Its architecture showcases a deep Spanish influence from the colonial era; the square is surrounded by a beautiful central garden and some of the earliest mansions, palaces, and grand estates built in South America.
