Lima, City of the Kings
Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor) - Today, explore the City of Kings, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Main Square (Plaza Mayor) is surrounded by the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Government Palace, and the Municipality.
Cathedral of Lima - The tour includes a visit inside the Cathedral to see the tomb of the Spanish conqueror of Peru.
The next stop is the St. Dominic Convent, where the remains of famous Peruvian saints rest.
Miraflores - Enjoy a panoramic view of the city’s main streets, squares, and avenues. Begin with a view of the Miraflores district, starting at the Parque del Amor, where you can admire the famous sculpture “The Kiss” by Peruvian artist Victor Delfin. Then, observe the impressive Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Continue to the Plaza de Armas to see the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace. Visit the Cathedral and walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, where San Martín de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima once walked in the 17th century, and where their remains now lie.
Lima - Cusco, Capital of the Inca’s Empire
Qorikancha - Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (airfare not included; a morning flight is recommended). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon (13:30 hrs), enjoy an exclusive tour of Cusco. The tour begins at St. Christopher’s Square for a panoramic view of the city. Continue to St. Peter’s Market to explore local flavors, aromas, and colors.
The Qorikancha Temple opens its doors, inviting you to imagine its former glory, clad in gold. Qorikancha means “golden enclosure” in Quechua, and it retains much of its past splendor. You will also visit the St. Dominique Church.
San Blas - Next, visit San Blas, the district of artisans. Walk down Hatun Rumiyoc Street, see the Inca Roca palace (now the Archbishop’s palace), and stop to admire the famous 12-angled stone.
Plaza de Armas - Continue to the Plaza de Armas and absorb the heart of Cusco from here.
Cusco Cathedral - Visit the Cathedral to see the colonial masterpieces housed inside.
Cusco, Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park
Sacsayhuaman - In the morning, explore Sacsayhuaman, an impressive site with colossal constructions, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Q’enqo - The next stop is the Incan adoratory of Qenqo, featuring a sacrificial altar carved inside a rock formation.
Tambomachay - Enjoy a panoramic view of the Puca Pucara fortress and walk to Tambomachay, an architectural marvel of the Incas and a pillar of the Andean worldview. Return to Cusco.
Inca’s Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu
Chinchero - Today, explore some of the most fascinating sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Chinchero, the most traditional and picturesque town in the Sacred Valley, is your first stop. Visit its archaeological complex and beautiful colonial church. Chinchero is also renowned for its female weavers who use ancestral Inca techniques to dye and spin alpaca wool.
Moray - Next, visit Moray, a unique Inca archaeological site with colossal circular terraces. It served as an agricultural laboratory where diverse microclimates were recreated. Lunch follows.
Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - Continue the tour at the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, significant to the Incas as a military, religious, and agricultural center. Visit the Temple of the 10 Windows, the ñusta (Inca princess) baths, the Sun Temple, and other points of interest. The views from the top of the archaeological site provide a perfect ending to this magical day in the Sacred Valley. Then, take a train to Machu Picchu town.
Machu Picchu, Lost Citadel
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - In the morning, board a bus on time to ascend the mountain via a serpentine road with breathtaking views.
Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, awaits at the mountain’s summit. Discover its incredible terraces, stone steps, ceremonial sites, urban areas, and temples.
The entrance to Machu Picchu opens at 6:00 am, the earliest time to enter the citadel. The guide will immerse you in ancient history and invite you to connect with the magical energy surrounding you.
After an approximately 2.5-hour guided tour, board the bus back to Machu Picchu Pueblo and enjoy lunch. When ready, board your train back to Cusco, a magical journey following the magnificent Urubamba River, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.

Cusco - Departure transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima (airfare not included; choose the best option to connect with your international flight.
