• Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia) - After purchasing the entrance ticket, the driver will take you to the gorge. You will embark on a hiking tour to the upper part of the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Enjoy a 15-20 minute walk along the plank road to the viewing platform on the valley floor. The powerful currents of the Jinsha River roar through the narrow valley, with waves crashing against the rocks. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture this breathtaking view. At the narrowest point, a giant rock, 13 meters (43 feet) high, sits in the middle of the river, splitting the torrents into two branches. The surging waves crash against the rock with a tremendous roar. A special viewing platform is available for visitors to fully appreciate this impressive scenery and take photos.

You will have 1.5-2 hours to enjoy the stunning scenery of the gorge. Afterward, retrace your steps back to the parking lot.

The entire expanse of Tiger Leaping Gorge is segmented into three distinct sections: the upper, middle, and lower segments.
During this abbreviated tour, you’ll spend approximately 1.5 to 2 hours discovering the upper segment, situated at the commencement of the Jinsha River.
