Wonderful visit and exceptional guide - We visited the British Motor Museum yesterday with our son, who is blind, and had an absolutely fantastic experience.
We were fortunate to have a guided tour with Jim, who is visually impaired himself, and he was exceptional. His knowledge of the vehicles and their history was incredible, but what really stood out was the way he engaged our son throughout the visit.
Jim described the cars in such a vivid and thoughtful way and encouraged him to explore through touch where possible. He was even able to sit in and feel parts of vehicles that most visitors wouldn't normally have access to, which made the experience truly special.
Perhaps most impressive was how Jim managed to keep him fully engaged for such a long period of time – no small achievement with children! His enthusiasm, patience and understanding made the whole visit incredibly enjoyable.
Experiences like this mean so much for children with visual impairments, and we left feeling genuinely impressed by the museum and the effort they put into making it accessible.
A huge thank you to Jim – he is a real credit to the museum.

I’m not into cars but this was great - Make sure you have comfortable shoes on because there’s a lot of walking. 200 cars all with their history and two different guided tours to enjoy. It was really informative, great for youngsters with small cars for them to ride round in. Lovely cafe (vegan sausage roll was super but no bottles of drink, only cans so) and plenty of immaculate toilets. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant! - We took our Grandchildren in February half-term and had an amazing time. Large, free car park. Grassy play area for better weather days. The museum is house in a beautiful building. The staff are friendly. The children particular enjoyed swapping the pushchair for the mini cars, which did not incur additional charge. They also enjoyed the science show and half-term play activities. So many interesting vehicles to look at, we'll have to pop back on our own sometime! Very nice cafe with reasonably priced food and large dining area. A separate building contained a further collection of two hundred cars. So much to see. A great day out for all ages of car enthusiasts.

A secret hidden British gem for all ages! - Fantastic day spent at British Motor Museum in February half term! My boys loved the extra activities - shout out to the Science Show and Game Coding workshop! Very well presented and very informative! Excellent selection of cars on display, very friendly staff on hand everywhere you can see and always with a smile on their faces, good value trip! Only negative would be the busy cafe but that was to be expected on a rainy day in half term! Gluten free selection was very good especially the chocolate fudge cake! Totally recommended trip for all ages! 🥰 Thank you for a great day out!

Great family fun - I went with my Granddaughter because I like to show her different things. We both had a lovely time and personally I was surprised how many cars there were. It was all very educational, fun and a friendly. The staff were welcoming and for the price of one ticket each we got a year pass. I fully recommend this as a trip and maybe give yourself 4 hours to uncomfortably go round.

Jimbo's tour was A*. - We had the most fantastic day here - mostly because of the superb tour given to us by Jimbo. His knowledge was vast and he really made the day special for the kids 🤗. Loads of cars and a few activities for the kids to do.

Nice treat for car lovers of all ages. - Went on my partners 68th birthday, and he really enjoyed it. He said the only sad thing was the current state of our car industry having gone from world leaders in car innovation and technology to an embarrassing also ran.
All round good value especially
buying tickets through online TripAdvisor. Only downside was the poor selection of food in cafe which was rather disappointing.
