Honest review - a family of 4 from Missouri, US - My husband and 2 kiddos had the most wonderful experience. We did a horseback ride to tubing adventure and couldn't be more impressed!!! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They also helped ensure that we did not lose or damage our personal belongings. During the tubing adventure, any stops that looked dangerous or where there may be a standstill, there was a professional staff always waiting to help each individual along. I am certain that the other tubing groups and trails were not this thorough!!!! They also had photographers throughout the course that were capturing the moments for us. Don't worry, they didn't try to upsell us. The price was reasonable and they were very down to earth. I'm always skeptical about getting scammed or taken advantage of, and this was NOT the case here. I felt very safe with my 9 and 11 year old, and we had a wonderful time. Another family with a teenager, lost her phone and the staff immediately dove down to search for it. With the crystal clear waters, of course... they found it! Please look into this place if you're thinking about booking... as these adventures are NOT all the same. We saw other tours and signs along the way offering similar type excursions, but their equipment looked janky and old and very unkept. Adventure Tours HG was great! They were fast, efficient and left no one behind. I also have to add that the resort Hacienda Guacheipelin was also one of the best non-commercial "TRUE COSTA RICAN FEEL" place to stay. The food was amazing, and my husband is a severe celiac/gluten allergy person. EVERYTHING was gluten free and labeled. BEST experience! This was not a paid review. We're regular ole folks from Missouri, USA. Thank you, immensely!

Fun, safe and beautiful river rapid tubing - We had a wonderful time with Walter and Randall as our guides. So much fun and felt completely safe as they expertly guided us through the rapids. Highly recommend. Also recommend adding photographer (Jeffrey did a great job). Very reasonable and so worth it.

Very fun! - We had a great time on this tubing trip. We booked the 8AM tour and were the only people there. The guides were great and made sure we had a safe trip. Definitely recommend paying for the pictures

Thumbs Up! - The rapids were pretty intense on the date that we went tubing, and the guides made us feel safe and comfortable! We were a little nervous going into the experience, but by the end we were so glad we did it, and owe it all to the guides who were with us and made it so much fun!

Tuning in rapids - Carlos was our guide with the horses, and he was incredibly nice. Pablo, Luis and Kevin were very professional while tubing! It was so much fun! As long as you can hold on to a tube you will be just fine. Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Amazing tubing trip! - We signed up for the tubing trip, not quite sure what to expect. Our first indication was the guides saying the water level was high. Then we were in the thick of things for the next two hours, a nearly endless succession of drops, whitewater, and waves, with occasional stops for everyone to catch their breath and for the guides to get in position on the next stretch of river. It was a thrill from start to finish, in very capable hands. Thank you for an outing we will not forget!

A blast! - The tubing adventure was so much fun. Not for the feint of heart this time of year (December) when the water is high, but the guides are amazing. My kids (11 and 16) loved it. Beautiful surroundings as well.

Exciting water adventure!! - The tubing was a bit more adventure than these 2 seniors were expecting! We thought that there would be more quiet, peaceful floating involved instead of the nearly constant rapids. We were properly outfitted with life jackets and helmets. Our group of 4 was accompanied by 3 guides who were very helpful in keeping us moving. Water in the river was a little low so we bottomed out a few times. Often times, we were going backwards over the narrow rapids and had to be very mindful of not hitting our feet & legs on the rocks. It was exciting but terrifying at times. Water in the river was warm. The photographer did a great job and we have wonderful photos to remind us of our experience.

Great family day of fun - This was a blast with family. We had 2 adults and 2 teenages. We rode the horses for about 45 minutes then got off and took the shuttle to the tubbing site. You can skip the horses if you want but we loved it. The tubing is a blast but please note there are some serious rocks/rapids that you are moving through. There are many spots that are calm as well but I noticed little kids had a hard time getting themselves moved through the calm spots. The staff is also on the river with you and they assist with moving you along as well. Wear good water shoes-either sandals with straps or beach/pool water shoes. Crocs aren't great as they can easily fall off as you move through the brisk rapid parts on the river. they provide towels at the end and water as well. We had a great time.

My time. - Very rough water. I have done class V rafting and this was easily more intense. Honestly it was kinda of scary because you. Could be separated from family so easily.
