• Thoroughbred Heritage Horse Farm Tours - Thoroughbred Heritage Visitors Center

Visitors will be transported from this pick-up point to explore stunning Thoroughbred horse farms in the region. They will gain insights into Thoroughbred breeding, training, racing, and aftercare, and have the opportunity to interact with some of the horses at the farms, as available. At the conclusion of the tour, guests will be returned to the Visitors Center. (Complimentary parking is provided at the Visitors Center.)

Explore why Lexington, Kentucky is celebrated as the Horse Capital of the World on this 3.5-hour guided tour, with transportation in a comfortable 14-passenger van. The tour includes stops at the renowned Keeneland Race Course* and one or more stunning Thoroughbred horse farms, which together establish the Lexington area as the heart of Thoroughbred breeding in the United States and beyond.

• November 12th - March 10th: Minimum numbers of 4 guests are required to run tour.
• Under Kentucky law, a farm animal activity sponsor, farm animal professional, or other person does not have the duty to eliminate all risks of injury of participation in farm animal activities. “There are inherent risks of injury that you voluntarily accept if you participate in farm animal activities.” “By purchasing ticket/s you agree that Thoroughbred Heritage Tours is not liable for any injuries or death that may occur due to participating in a farm animal activity in Kentucky”.
• There is no age limit but a ticket is required for all children. It is not recommended for children under six. Kentucky State Law requires infants and/or toddlers must be in a car seat, rear facing until 2 years of age. Children younger than 8 years old and between 40 and 57 inches must be in a booster. Children younger than 8 but taller than 57 inches do not have to ride in a booster seat.
• No animals including service animals allowed on the tours
