Amazing experience - The tour was amazing! We had the best time and learned so much about the local birds. Carlos is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail to us. We saw in just a few hours over 40 different types of birds. I can recommend this tour to anyone who loves wildlife and birds 💕❤️

So many birds!!! - Half day birdwatching tour with Lugo! Fabulous in every way! Lugo has great knowledge and energy. We went to several different spots and saw almost 50 bird species. We stopped at a very local place for delicious quesadillas. Excellent day and thank you Lugo!!!

An Amazing Bird Watching Tour! - We had an absolutely incredible bird watching excursion with Carlos, truly a five star experience! Our guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the wildlife in the region. Their expertise made all the difference, he was able to identify birds by sight and even just sound. So many lifers and he even sent us the list on E-Bird/Merlin which was awesome. The scenery was breathtaking, the trip was very well organized. If you’re even remotely interested in birding or nature photography, this tour is an absolute must while visiting the Cancun area. We would book again in a heartbeat…which we did the very next day because he had availability

Brilliant Guide - Carlos is a brilliant bird and wildlife guide. He is an expert on birds and can recognise them in the most difficult situations. He made the session interesting and enjoyable and in just over 3 hours we saw over 50 different bird species in an area just 1-2 miles across and quite close to Playa Del Carmen. The birds included two Toucan species, Trogon and Motmot. He knows the area and the best places to see birds very well.

Experienced and passionate bird watching guides, will make it so worth it for you! - Four of us took this early morning guided bird watching tour in late Jan. 2025. Carlos, our guide, was very knowledgeable about all the bird species we could hope to see, and over the course of our nearly 4hour tour, we saw 43 species! He used special bird calls to lure certain species out closer to us for photo ops. And he even created a list in Ebird for us to view. He took so many great pics for us. Really enjoyed this tour - well worth an early wake-up!

Great birding in Akumal! - Great tour! We immediately saw toucans and so many other birds. Carlos was amazing at sighting birds in the trees and pointing them out. Keep in mind, this is a natural, sometimes walking bird tour that is in the jungle. It is amazing to see.

54 species in 5 hours! - Our expert guide Carlos led us to a very active location on a rural road outside of Playa del Carmen. We were able to find 54 species of birds. Carlos was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His enthusiasm for birding was evident and he ensured that we saw as many birds as possible. He even created an eBird list for us while we explored and took hi-res photos of birds that he shared after the trip. I highly recommend taking this tour with Carlos.
