Lenca - The journey begins from your accommodation, heading towards Puerto Montt to join the Southern Road. Upon reaching the park, a tour of the lush Valdivian vegetation will commence. Visitors will explore the Chaica River Leap, observe various native forest species, and admire the park’s renowned ancient larches, along with birds whose melodies will enchant.
The first stop will be at Laguna Chaiquenes, where a brief rest will be taken before proceeding to the main destination, Laguna Triangulo. Here, a delightful snack will be enjoyed to recharge for the return journey. The descent follows the same path back to the starting point, concluding with a return to Puerto Varas.
IMPORTANT: The route is 9 km (18 km round trip) with a stony path, roots, and significant mud in the last 5 kilometers.

The trip was wonderful.... - The trip was wonderful. The guide Lorena was exceptional. Due to unforeseen physical limitations, we were unable to see the entire tour, so that we would not be deprived of the beauty of the park, she took us to another lake so that we could walk around it. She also prepared a snack for us. I highly recommend it!

It really was worth it!!! - We thank our Guide Lorena who guided us on the tour to Alerce National Park. It was just wonderful!!! We made a walk of about 13km between going and going with simply magnificent landscapes. The trail was made respecting the limits of each of us and Lorena knows the place very well and was very attentive with us.

Beautiful city. - I've known him since I was 25. For business, vacation, family, casino, alone, etc. Next to Valdivia should be the most beautiful cities in Chile. It's a city I always recommend to my acquaintances.

Raging River, Waterfalls, and Lakes - This was a great way to see the beauty Patagonia affords: Raging rivers, lakes, forests, waterfalls, and wonderful Mountain Views in the course of a day hike. Our guide, Lorena, was great as she kept a manageable and comfortable trekking pace throughout and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, history, and geology. A very enjoyable trek.

Hike worth the effort. - Great hike, not very difficult. Lots of mud in the middle section so don't expect to stay clean. Guide Lorena was very pleasant and interactive with us in identifying birds and interesting plants/trees. The view at Laguna Triangle is stunning and worth the effort.
