Great walking tour - Amazing walking tour! Our guide was extremely patient with us on a very hot day. He took us to amazing places and gave us a lot of great history. He knew the best places for photo ops at the cathedral. Totally recommended if you have the time in León!

EXCELLENT and informative tour. - We had an AMAZING private walking tour with Franklin. He is so knowledgeable, full of information and he makes the history of Leon interesting. He took us all around the city, pointed out all the important and fascinating facts about Leon and made the city come alive. In the tour was also included a smoothie which was delicious ! He took us up to the roof the cathedral and we took some beautiful photos up top. I would highly recommend this tour if you're into history and you want someone who can make you truly appreciate what the city has gone through. The tour was about 3 hours and it was the perfect length.

Great city tour about Leon/Nica history and culture - Did the private city tour with Franklin. Took closed to 4hour to go through some major point around city center. Not too much walking but a great intensive amount of history knowledge about the city/country and culture. Frankin is very professional on the history background. And can clearly introduce all the detail and answer the question. This is really a good suggested trip. A foreigner traveling to the city wont be able to understand and appreciate the history and culture easily without a professional guide.

Great service. Excellent and informative experience. - Franklin arranged everything for me, including my airport pick up and hotel transfers. Julio was my guide and agreed to take me to the cathedral as soon as it opened. As a result, I have the entire rooftop to myself. Beautiful experience.

love the city of Leon - Sergio is a great tour guide; he and I connected on several levels. Speaking of levels... The view from the top of the Basilica is outstanding.

Don't tour on a Sunday but do use this company. - We did this walk on a very hot Sunday. Sadly all the buildings we were to visit were closed. Miguel did his best to alternate with the art gallery, it was very good. The next day Franklin made the effort to get us on top of the church first. We appreciate all they did to help us. Intelligent caring attentive guides - triple wow!! - Franklin runs an amazing company - Vamos travel. We did many of the activities. His walking tour was thorough and Franklin is very knowledgeable and well read. His team of guides were consistently kind, attentive, and adaptable to our preferences. We travel a lot and we like to have more of an intelligent conversation with guides and that’s what we got. Every guide was personable and really listened to what we wanted to do. The volcano was so much fun for all ages. Every event we did — the timing was perfect. Our guide Sergio made sure we hit the sunset for our volcano slide. He also noticed what we were interested in and made changes to the itinerary based on our interests. He talked our way into seeing the new Managua cathedral which was closed but the guards opened it for him and us. In Granada, we felt like we were walking with the unofficial mayor of the town since it seems everyone knows our guide Julio. Julio knew we liked churches and designed a driving tour of 16 churches before timing it just right to see the lava in the Masaya volcano. He also made dinner reservations for us and everyone in the restaurant greeted us by name and mentioned how they liked Julio. Finally, I️ have to say that Franklin is one of the most meticulous travel guides and agents I️ have ever met and he is very calm too. He always responded quickly on WhatsApp and he got all the details right. His company is a reason to come to Nicaragua. I️ can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. Triple wow!

Informative - The best part of this experience is walking on top of the Bascillica. Lots of fascinating information given by our very knowledgeable guide Sergio(who was also our guide for the horse riding). Actually only visited one other place which was an interesting and rather strange museum of myths, legends and prisoners.
