Magical and memorable family adventure - You can imagine that in a family of 14 it is impossible to make everyone happy…yet this trip did just that. Our group (aged 9-60+) all had an amazing time. The scenery was beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife. We enjoyed stopping at historical sites and hiking. The rafting and riding in the duckie was so fun. I cannot say enough about our team of guides: Scott, Laura, Jack, and Jenna. They were organized, enthusiastic, and passionate about rafting. When not on the water, they cooked for us and then led games and songs. They took us on hikes. They were great at reading group dynamics and helping our whole group have a fun time. The weather was hotter than I expected in July and I overpacked too many warm layers for chilly nights. I would also recommend that if coffee is important to you, bring some high quality instant coffee. This is a great family friendly adventure and you will not be disappointed. I would pick this over taking my family to Disneyland any time. Our kids already want to book another trip.

Best trip ever! - We had the best time ever on the Main Salmon River with Adventure Idaho. Went with my 12 and 16-year-old kids and we did the 5 day trip. The guides were truly the best. Scott, Eric, Jack, Jenna, and Lora made our trip so enjoyable - from the rapids, side trips, food, and camp life. We can't wait to go back.

Main Salmon Adventure - We had a great time on the Salmon river. We did the main Salmon, 5 day trip. It really comes down to the people. Our guides were all top notch and really tried to make it the best experience possible. I'd book again with Adventure Idaho.

Adventure Idaho delivers the best Salmon River experience ever!! - I loved that they accommodated me paddling my own packraft. Eric added just the right amount of history and nature related quotes to make us think a little deeper about the privilege of the entire experience. Jack, Scott, Lora and Jenna worked so hard to get to know everyone and provide an unforgettable experience for everyone: setting up a raft slippery slide, swimming challenges, campfire games, harvesting fresh mint to add to our lemonade, preparing 3 amazing meals each day (lemonade mix sprinkled watermelon delicacies, pineapple upside down cake, peach cobbler, cinnamon hot cocoa in the mornings, salmon, ribeye steak, fajitas). We now know that Pringles belong in sandwiches, going to the bathroom (privately!) with a view of the river is an event to look forward to each day, Scott is the best big brother, and going to sleep while counting shooting stars is just the best. It is clear that despite the physical demands and long days of oaring, navigating the entire group safely down the rapids, hauling, unpacking, cooking, serving their guests, cleaning up and packing it all up again, the guides love their team, their jobs and the river. I am grateful they shared that with us.
