Very personal... - A very personal, cheerful, and informative city tour on 07/31 at around 10 a.m. Friendly greeting from the cashier at the point. The two ladies (driver and moderator) were simply top-notch. No impersonal video tour or loudspeaker announcement can compete with that. We booked the trip on recommendation and can gladly recommend this tour with a clear conscience! Thanks to everyone involved.

Recommended personally guided city tour - Great 90 minute city tour with the possibility to get off and on for a fair price, highly recommended.... Instead of audio guide, personal accompaniment on site, very funny and informative, We loved it!!!

Leipzig was cool - Hop on/off times "different" - We did the trip on the 3rd. Day booked and were in joyful anticipation. Unfortunately, people were queuing up and the buses were loud: well, that's just the way it is! What was interesting - there are no headphones and no translation! Unusual....so either Saxon German or bad luck? We had a young lady (24 from Bremen) who commented live on the first round...which then caused us to drop out (little knowledge, strange humor and at all). We then boarded the next bus at Thomaskirche and behold: HAMMER TEAM! Katharina from Leipzig and driver Zonko were the smash! A thrilling thoroughbred licker who has brought us closer to HER city with heart and brain - with humor, good humor, expertise and genuine personal commitment! We were absolutely thrilled. We were so attached to her lips, we would have done 5 whole laps with her! A big thank you, that was a really great experience. We will come back and hope for the dream team Katharina and Zonko! Disappointing - Unfortunately, our tour was completely split in two. We drove with Ruth to the Klingerweg boat landing. That was great, competent knowledge paired with funny stories. The boat trip was very good, and here too, the driver was a fountain of knowledge. Then things went downhill pretty quickly. The recorded voice provided us with partially incorrect or outdated information. The Grassimuseum stop was skipped without at least pointing it out. The final stop was then the main train station without any notification. The driver, who was barely proficient in the German language, became rude to the passengers and offered that we should drive ourselves. Saturday arrival at the station around 3 p.m., perhaps you know who that was, no advertisement for your company. I am happy to pay the requested price for a personal tour guide, but not for a tape recording and a driver who does not understand my questions. It is disappointing when you show a guest Leipzig and they then experience something like that.

English commentary not available - The live commentary was all in German. I struggled to focus on 1) Google Translate's voice-to-text transcribing and 2) viewing the city. Leipzig is amazing and beautiful! However, the bus trip was not pleasant. I assumed there would be English commentary as English is a fairly universal language for tourists, particularly those from the northern hemisphere. But I was told just before getting on the bus, the narrative would be only in German. I suggest other tourists check for commentary in a language they understand before booking.

Only good for Germans. - Don’t book this if you don’t speak German. No other language spoken on the trip. This was not clear when booked on Viators English website.

Not recommended or just caught a bad day - 1. Bus either too hot or too cold, obviously no temperature control. 2. Voice of the guide on the bus much too loud. 3. Combination ticket incl. family ticket zoo not recommended, because then public transport to the zoo not included. 4. Crowning end of the day: The bus is supposed to stop every 30 minutes, at the panometer at 15:55 it did not come, wait until 16:25 in freezing and stormy weather with children
