• Goat Island Marine Reserve - The adventure begins with an introduction to the equipment, along with some snorkeling techniques and basic swimming lessons. Participants will learn about the history of Goat Island and get acquainted with the marine life they might encounter at New Zealand’s first marine reserve. A comprehensive safety briefing will be provided before entering the water.

The group will proceed to the water to finalize equipment adjustments. Participants will remain in shallow waters initially to acclimate to the equipment and the unique experience of breathing while observing underwater! Once everyone feels confident and at ease, the group will venture further to continue the exploration.

After the tour, participants are welcome to use the equipment for the rest of the day to continue their exploration!

The Guided Snorkel Tour is designed for beginners and non-swimmers, featuring expert instructors, flotation devices, and ample support to ensure everyone feels secure and confident in the ocean. Participants will learn, laugh, and explore in shallow, clear waters before moving on to experience the wonders up close.
