Excellent full-day tour - The Outer Edge full day tour was fabulous with Captain Hugo, Dre & Amanda. Dre helped acclimate my kids to snorkeling their first time (saw sea turtles, an eel, stingray, schools of fish, and even a reef shark at the wall on West Caicos). Hugo and Amanda did their best to spot some humpback whales - which we saw surface and dive several times and tried to get in the water with them. We also tried to swim with a pod of 8 dolphins. Big Blue Collective is a smooth tour guide operator and a highlight of our trip.

Excellent experience - Big Blue Collective was exactly what I was hoping for. Smaller group of people, guides who care about the environment, and very professional. Good equipment and attention to what different people needed.I had a great experience, even being there solo, and would highly recommend them. Mercedes was even kind enough to send me some pictures from her GoPro.

Only True Snorkeling Tour in Provo - We had a great experience with Ryan, Mikey, and Hugo doing the Edge of the Banks full day tour. Big Blue Collective is the only snorkeling excursion for people who are truly there to snorkel. We snorkeled at four different locations and we split up into two groups of 5-6 people once we were in the water for a more private experience.

An impressive and professional operation! - Big Blue Collective is a very high quality operation. The owner of the townhouse we rented recommended them and we were very glad she did. Everything about this operation is impressive. I called on the phone from the U.S. with questions which were promptly answered. We booked a snorkel trip for Tuesday. Sunday night I got a message that Monday looked like a better day for snorkeling asking me if we could change days. We could and did. We arrived and were outfitted with neoprene shorties/shirts because it was cool and very windy. The masks, snorkels and fins were all in excellent condition and high quality. We went to two VERY impressive snorkel sites. Our group was divided into experienced snorkelers and those new to snorkeling. We are experienced. Our group of 5 was lead by Mark. He knew where to look for big creatures, small creatures, and beautiful coral. The quantity and quality of what we saw on these two snorkel sites was amazing. We would highly recommend Big Blue Collective for snorkeling and Mark as a snorkel guide.

If you do any snorkeling tour— do this one - Would definitely do again. The staf: Hugo, Ryan & Mikey were superb. I’ve been trip all over the world and they are in with the best. They are knowledgeable, highly competent and respectful of the marine life and surroundings. Looking forward to another fun day with Big Blue Collective.

Unreal - an incredible day - This tour was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my whole life. As soon as we went out, we encountered a playful dolphin, and the crew was quick enough to get us all ready so we could jump right in and swim with it! I thought it couldn’t get any better but the day had just started. After going to explore some really beautiful reef, we encountered a humpback whale, twice! Again, our captain Hugo was incredible at finding the whale and positioning the boat in a way that allowed us to jump in the water and see it swim in front of us, and under us. The crew, captain Hugo, Ryan, and Mickey, were simply incredible. Super kind, funny but also incredibly knowledgeable, making the experience of swimming with fish so much greater. The snacks were healthy and nice, and just when we were coming back we saw the dolphin, again! Couldn’t have asked for more - and can’t wait to do it again! Couldn’t recommend more.

8 hour tour was nice but overpriced for what you get - Stumbled on this tour company on a walk. We booked the 8 hour tour for the next day on a whim, but I should have done more research first. Was with my 81 y/o adventurous mom and we both felt this was a pretty bare bones trip for the $$$ we paid. It was a windy day and the snorkeling was a bit rough, but she managed pretty well for a couple of snorkels. For me the water was cold and I thought half wet suites would have been available. In terms of this tour, the guides were nice but not overall helpful. The boat was pretty basic and hard for my mom to navigate with limited shade. The food was minimal - a bit of fruit served in the morning when it was so rough no one could really eat it, a small bag of chips, and a small lunch of fish curry and chicken skewers - which were good. Also, no drinks other than water and 1 adult beverage after the last snorkel. Be prepared. On the positive it was a great day on the water, but this tour is really basic, for strong swimmers and more advanced snorkelers. I felt they should have taken one look at my 81 y/o mom and recommended something else. Having seen other reviews now, I would recommend the private boat if you want to see more and be more comfortable. Next time I will do more research! This does seem like a great company overall, so recommend booking with them as long as you know what you are getting into.
