Upon arrival at motu Taufarii, guests receive an engaging introduction to the captivating history of the Polynesian black pearl and the techniques of pearl farming. Next, guests board the boat to explore, while snorkeling near a coral garden, strings of oysters in their natural habitat. The oysters are submerged to a depth of 1 meter, and with the team’s guidance, guests can browse the lines of oysters and select their own oyster to harvest! The fortunate may even spot manta rays! Returning to motu Taufarii, the team assists in opening the oysters to reveal the precious black pearls. The experience concludes with a tasting of local fruits and fresh drinks in a stunning natural setting, offering breathtaking views of the lagoon and Mount Otemanu. Each guest departs with the pearl they collected, either in a small sand bottle or a velvet pouch. Finally, everyone is transported back to the meeting point.

Don't Miss This Unique Experience - We went to Bora Bora for our honeymoon and this was one of our highlights. This is an incredibly unique experience to not only dive for your own oysters to take home a pearl, but also learn all about the process of how pearls are created. The guides are SO great. The happiest and friendliest people and we learned so much from them! You won't regret it!

DONT SKIP THIS - A MUST IN BORA BORA - Manu and Keanu are the comedians of the island!
From snorkeling and diving for your own oyster, to Manu opening the oyster to see if you found an island gem, this was a very exciting experience.
Both of the guys were very patient with the guests, as we all have different comfort levels in the water. They made sure everyone was safe and were very accommodating.
Getting back to the shoreline and watching Manu open everyone’s oysters was fun for all. Not every oyster kept a pearl, however Manu and Keanu were prepared and gathered additional oysters just in case, to ensure everyone had a souvenir. The different sizes and shapes and even slight color variations of each pearl that came out of the oysters were all beautiful.
*** MY HUSBAND IS A THRILL SEEKER, so I didn’t think he would enjoy this. I was very nervous to take him away from diving, fishing, ATV/ Jet Ski’s etc. HE LOVED IT.
He is a lover of the ocean and respects everything nature, learning about how careful they are with the oysters in order to still make a living was interesting. At the end of the day, he said he was so glad he did this.
DONT SKIP THIS TOUR. IT WAS WONDERFUL

A great day with Tahi, Keanu and black pearls - Guides Tahi and Keanu have refined this tour. It was not only educational, but also an indescribable experience due to the positive nature of the two guides. Also the experience of having pearls dipped itself is of course great.

Entertaining - For myself and two younger children (girl-age 13 and boy-age 11) throughly enjoyed the pearl diving trip. Both children rated the event 5 stars. Educational and Entertaining - Manu has a wonderful sense of humor and interacts great with children. Plus, we all returned home with a cool token - a pearl from our dive - placed in a miniature bottle/with sand. Thanks

Great experience! - Manu and Tini are very kind and helpful for the entire tour. We learnt so much about how pearls here are raised and collected. The tour is not difficult at all even for non- swimmer. We collected pearls and we plan to make them jewelry for memory!

Best tour in Bora Bora - This is more than the best experience I could have imagined!! Manu and Tini are wonderful!! They provided detail knowledge regarding the whole cultured pearl farm in the most fun way! And guided us through each step to retrieve the pearl

Black Tahitian Pearl Farm - A fun must do experience - An incredible and fun experience and definitely worth booking. Our guides Manu and Kenu took the time to explain the whole tedious process of raising the oysters and caring for them up until the point where they are implanted with the nucleus that actually causes the oyster to secrete the nacre and make the black pearl. The dive was a lot of fun, we harvested our basket of oysters, and everybody on the boat actually came back with a black Tahitian pearl. The quality of our pearls we got was exquisite, although they do vary because it is a natural process. We had a lot of fun as we watched and assisted “Dr. Manu” with the oysters. We laughed and learned. We would book it again on our next visit to Bora Bora.

Pearl Farm !! - Manu and kemanu are the best in the field of pearl that you can find at bora bora. Super nice and very funny we had a great time with them. I recommend!
