Highly Recommend - We had a fantastic day with Terry. Not only did he select a wonderful itinerary of really interesting and special wineries in the Tamar Valley, but he provided thoughtful history of Launceston and Tasmania's wine industry and background on the specific wineries we visited. Thank you so much!

A standout wine tour - would have given 10 out of 5 if I could. - Would have given 10 out of 6 if I could.
Everything about the whole winetasting tour went perfectly from start to finish - tour was very professionally conducted; wineries and wines were great; winery representatives were excellent across the board; and the pub meal options were great. Everything was so well done and it was clear the wineries were hand selected based on their wines and informative/interactive nature. (and we've been on tours in the past that were not, so this is not faint praise after a glass of lovely Tassie Pinot Gris...)
Even before the tour Terry had great comms and kept us well informed. Hotel pickup was right on time, MB van was very clean and comfortable, terry was very informative on Tassie generally and Tassie's various wine regions. At most we had 15 mins driving between each winery - and this was an opportunity to learn more from Terry and chat to others (we had 10 on our tour from all over AUS. Lots of fun)
There is no pressure to buy wine - but we did buy 15 bottles from across the 4 wineries we visited. For us the sparkling whites, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Chardonnay were the stand outs - fully aligned to our taste. All the wines were very high quality though the Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Shiraz were a softer more delicate style than we are used to.
All up this wine tour was excellent value for money and a great illustration of Tamar valley's great wineries and wine/food people. We will definitely repeat our visit to the tamar valley, and would seek Terry's advice to shape our visit.

Great experience! We... - Great experience! We don’t know much about wine, but Terry was awesome at sharing the history of Tasmania and Launceston, plus the stories behind each winery. Loved visiting the four different wineries, each had its own vibe. Highly recommend! 😊

Terrific Tasting Tour! A must-do for wine enthusiasts wanting a unique, boutique experience. - Gillian was our congenial and very informative guide for the day. We packed in a lot with visits to 4 wineries and a gin tasting. A delicious and generous platter lunch was included at Moore's Hill. All-in-all a great day out around the beautiful Tamar Valley with an entertaining bunch of like-minded enthusiasts.

This tour was awesome,... - This tour was awesome, I'd totally recommend it. I went by myself and had a blast. Terry, the guide, was super friendly and knew a lot about the area. The wine and food were great too, obviously. The vineyards are close to Launceston, so no super long drives, which means more time for the fun stuff.

Excellent Wine Tour - We had a wonderful wine tour with Terry today. From the moment he arrived to pick us up his friendly manner made us feel very comfortable. We enjoyed his commentary along the way and also the small group experience.
The four vineyards offered generous tastings and the grazing plate for lunch was beautifully presented and delicious.

Good food, good wine and good company - We are halfway through a driving holiday now that our last child finished high school last year. We have read about the cool climate wines in the Tamar Valley and thought that a bus tour would be the ideal way to explore the region and not have to drive. We were not disappointed. Terry was a friendly and informative host and driver, giving us a background commentary on the areas we passed and the wineries we were to visit. He was also quite knowledgeable about the industry in this area and with his information and the talks we were given at the 4 wineries we visited, we gained a lot of knowledge of the processes involved getting a bottle of wine to our table. We were given a great (yummy and large) selection of wine to sample and the grazing platter was generous and tasty. Terry was even able to organise to accommodate my food intolerances! Our fellow travellers were friendly and great company. Free postage to Queensland of my cartons of wine from the wineries was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend this tour - a lovely day out.
