The tour was a real highlight of my visit. Thanks much to the awesome tour guide. Denver is a real urban success story although it's not perfect. THANKS!
Diane was an awesome tour guide. She even got me to face my fear of heights and go out on the clock tower observation deck
Would give 10 stars! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and visiting the D&F Clock Tower was amazing!
Twas lovely to meet in the Kettle area--quiet repose in the shade of a hot summer day while learning of the origins of Denver. In the past, on the very spot we were enjoying and on Larimer Street, important events took place. Of particular interest was hearing about the the individual(s) who rescued a part of historical Denver from the wrecking balls of the Urban Renewal frenzy that destroyed so much history in US cities. Peeking beyond the ground level plate glass windows and up to the tops of buildings to learn a bit about their architecture along with the stories of the owners and their peers was great fun. The trip to the top of the D&H Clock Tower, a landmark in the city, was an opportunity to have a rare experience that could never have happened for me without this walking tour. It made the Larimer Square Walking Tour truly extraordinary.
I went with a group of friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Diane Travis. She had great knowledge of the area, good stories about the buildings and people, and willingly answered our many questions. The length both in time and area covered was felt right. We're talking about what tours we want to do next.
Great stories from Tom. Well worth the price. Learned a lot even even as a long time Denver resident
Loved learning about Denver history and seeing the clear day views from the Clocktower!! Tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and receptive to questions. A fun treat!
The two docents on our tour were very knowledgeable and pleasant, and we appreciated their responsiveness to our questions (plus keeping us in the shade whenever possible).
Learned a lot! Interesting and informative.
