Best diving experience with scotty dive. - I highly recommend Scotty Dive Team! My whole family took diving courses here, including Open Water, Junior Open Water, Rescue Diving, and Photography Specialty. The instructor team took excellent care of us, and the staff at the center were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had the best diving experience with them and will definitely return. Special thanks to instructors Frede, Mich, Floy, Zigmund, and Bernie for their care in making the entire learning experience both fun and, most importantly, safe.

First Diving Experience - The instructors, Mika Mae, Freddy and Sumika taught me very carefully and I enjoyed it! It was a great view under the sea!

One of the best in the world - I have scuba dive in many countries, and this one of the very best dive shops I have work with ever. Knowledgeable and going out of their way to help you learn and enjoy. Special mention to dive instructors Bernie, Nash; shop staff Marlyn and Joy.

Perfect - Oh man, Cebu was amazing. We did diving with Scotty’s (yep, the one at Shangri-La) and honestly? One of the best dive experiences we’ve had in a long time. Super chill, super organized, and the crew? Absolute legends. Our dive team was Fredevic Yorpo, Nash Perez, and Zigmund Jess Cid—such cool guys. Funny, patient, and they really knew their stuff. You could tell they love what they do, and that energy just made everything better. We hit up Baring, San Vicente, Gilutungan, Nalusuan, Talima, and even did the Kontiki Sardine Run—which, oh wow, was like swimming through a living, glittering tornado of fish. You just float there and the sardines swirl around you like you're in some kind of National Geographic scene. And then—this part was insane—they set up a day trip to Oslob for the whale sharks. Super comfy van, no stress at all, they even carried all our gear. I’m not kidding, we didn’t lift a finger. We got in the water and… boom, five whale sharks. Massive, gentle giants just cruising past us. One came so close I swear I felt its tail glide by. Unforgettable. Like, goosebumps kind of moment. And the cherry on top? Our 12-year-old son—yep, twelve—got his Advanced Open Water cert, Nitrox, and even did a night dive. Kid was glowing after. I mean, proud parent moment right there. The instructors were so good with him, made him feel safe but also pushed him just enough. He’s hooked now. Also worth mentionin they rinsed our gear after dives (heaven). Honestly, if you’re thinking about diving in Cebu, just book with Scotty’s. Don’t overthink it. Also well priced, You get pros, real dive sites (not tourist traps), and they actually care about marine conservation too, which I respect big time. Can’t wait to go back. Still dreaming about those whale sharks.

Awsome Course with amazing instructors - Bernie was my instructor and he was amazing. Knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend Scotty's sports at the Shangri La Resort in Mactan to anyone seeking Scuba lessons.

Highly recommended - I did a 2 day (5 dive) advanced SSI certification with Scotty in Bohol. Ron my instructor was fantastic, patient, very knowledgeable and the rest of the staff were excellent. Can not recommend Ron any higher. They also arranged pick up from my hotel daily.

Best place to get certified! - We did 3 ssi specialty courses with and a day safari. Contact with Peter via email was smooth and prompt. He was also our night specialty instructor. He’s a great teacher and gave us tons of suggestions to work on to be a better buddy team. Alex was our instructor for the deep and nitrox specialty. He’s knowledgeable and very patient. He helped us with our buoyancy in a quick pool session and later in the water. We did some fun dives with Noah and Bernie, who both are very kind and patient when I had equalization issues. They pointed out some great marine life during the dives. It was the best diving experience we’ve had so far. Great diving but also great service by all team members working there. They hold the highest standards. Highly recommend this place! We will be back!

Professional and accommodating to our schedule - We spend 3 days at Scotty's, with a rough schedule before coming there. Then, Peter and his staff were very flexible in tailoring the schedule to our preferences over the 3 days. In the end, we had a great time doing 8 dives in which we also learnt a lot of new things about diving. We did our deep, night & limited visibility, and nitrox SSI specialties at Scotty's as well as some fun dives. The teaching in the courses was excellent, with us benefiting from the perspectives of two knowledgeable instructors, Alexei and Peter, and the wonders of the Shangri-La Marine Sanctuary. On the 2nd day, we made a fun dive with Noah who showed us the underwater beauty at Olango. It was fun to meet him being German and us being Dutch. On our last day, Bernie was our dive guide, who accommodated our preferences perfectly and was a superb guide both under and above the sea.

What a great place! - I booked my advanced open water at Scottys action sports with Peter, who was a great help organising everything. Noah, my instructor was fantastic. He was a very patient teacher and made the learning great fun. We had some awesome dives on the course, and after. As a matter of fact, everyone I met here was very accommodating and helped me enjoy the experience. I enjoyed it so much that I booked another 4 dives to fill in the rest of my holiday. I will definitely be back here when I visit Cebu again.. Thanks for an awesome experience guys!
