Amazing experience. Shout out to Donna , our local guide and Gisel , our driver. - Whale Shark swimming, snorkeling in a fish sanctuary in Sumilong Island and enjoying Tumalog Falls. Wonderful experience!

Worth the long trip - The trip is kind of a pain. 3am pickup, 6pm drop-off for 30 min of whale shark swimming, almost all of that time being driving and waiting. That being said, the main attraction makes it more than worth it. You get as close as you can imagine to the whale sharks.
Some of the side attractions are nice enough as well - the sand bar and the waterfall.

Whale shark encounter - Really enjoyed swimming with wale sharks staff was great took pictures of us with the wale sharks a once in a lifetime experience for sure plenty of food going to the entrance parking is limited waited. About an hour and a half we were out on the water about a half hour with the sharks very Bluewater enjoyed every minute.

One of the best tours I ever took - The best of waterfall very similar to Kongsi fall at Luang Prabang, Laos. The whale shark was awesome and Sumilon Island was stunning

Whale sharks - Love the whale sharks and the falls! It is totally worth it, in my opinion, to go with a tour for the whale sharks because it is so busy. The tour company was very organized and took good care of us. The water to see the sardines was cloudy, so not like the photo on the site for us but the boat captain did a good job of getting some good photos for us. The water was better for turtles, and the boat captain was great about finding them. I completely recommend renting a go pro, they will film and take photos for you, and you can just enjoy the experience.

In the water with Whale Sharks - It was cool however we went through the hotel we might have overpaid. Lucky my partner is considered a senior and we received priority service so we did not have to wait. It was a once in a life time experience!

OVERCHARGED AND UNDERWHELMED - Swimming with the whale sharks was a fun experience and I highly recommend it! There were people of all ages, some as young as 3 participating.
This was the only good part of my tour.
I booked one tour that apparently wasn't available. So the company added me to a different tour and didn’t inform me. They simply scheduled me on a tour that had swimming with the whale sharks, and the visit to Sumilon, but nothing else I paid for. I was supposed to go to Tumalog Falls, have pickup and dropoff to my hotel, snorkel gear, breakfast, lunch, and towel. It wasn’t until i asked for my breakfast after a 4hr drive (i was the first to be picked up at 1:30am) that the tour guide told me food wasn’t included in the tour.The other guests on the tour informed me of the new itinerary, which included monkeys,a shrine, and a visit to buy chicharonnes. None of which i could participate. After comparing the tour I booked with the one I was actually on, the tour guide gave me money to eat but it didn’t cover what i had already paid after finding out there was no food.They dropped me off in the middle of Cebu City to find my own way back to my hotel, even though i was supposed to be returned to my hotel. I had to pay an additional 600php for a ride back to Lapu Lapu, which was an hr away. I found out the other guests paid less than half of what I paid and I’m assuming that’s bc of the Viator fees, but the tour company should’ve cancelled my reservation or gave me the option of whether I wanted to continue since the tour i booked was no longer available. They only refunded me $18 usd, which is less than what i spent outside of the $115 i paid for the ticket.

Disappointing - Local operator sucked. Insisted on communicating via WhatsApp, finally used Viator email when I told I didn't have one.
Late pick up. Instructed to be in lobby before 3am, no ETA tho I requested one. Driver "forgot" snorkeling gears for Sumilon Island.
Driver charged extra 100pesos/pp for hotel drop off. Then sarcastically suggested a tip.
Niece almost fainted at the whale watching site so can't review the experience. Tour guide excellent in guiding us to the ambulance & medical personnel.
Lastly, why were our fellow passengers charged only 1,700 pesos per person & I was charged $109 per person. Mind boggling difference. I don't think I'll use Viator ever again.

Do not book! They will cancel within few hours of tour. - Wish I could give negative star, they cancel less than 5 hours to pick up time.
How will someone pay for a tour without an intention of going after already receiving a confirmation email.
Do not book this! Unless you want your plans to get messed up and tour operator canceling tour within few hours even though you as the participant can't cancel a booked tour within 24 hours.
This is the worst experience I had with a tour company and I wish I hadn't cancel other plans and even checked out an hotel earlier for this.
