Travel through the lush suburbs of Johannesburg, passing through Johannesburg North on your way to the Village. As the journey progresses, you’ll notice the transition from the bustling city to a more rural setting. The changing landscape signals your departure from the urban environment to the countryside. During the trip, you’ll gain insights into the Zulu people and their affinity for fighting sticks, the Xhosa with their distinctive blankets, and the vibrant drums and whistles of the Pedi people, among others.

Upon arrival at Lesedi, the ambiance shifts to a traditional setting where you can explore homesteads in their authentic form. Visitors are divided into groups to experience the rich cultural diversity, with each group receiving in-depth exposure to various traditions.
