A brief ride from selected beach resorts and areas takes you directly to the starting point at the edge of Langkawi’s tropical rainforest.

Guided by the understanding that Langkawi offers abundant experiences for nature enthusiasts, you follow your guide along paths lined with diverse tree species, observing birds and butterflies fluttering freely, and you might even spot some mammals wandering the jungle floor. If you choose to start later in the afternoon, the transition from daylight to the early evening in the jungle will likely enhance your chances of seeing more wildlife.

As you gradually navigate through the jungle, gaining knowledge about Langkawi’s flora and fauna, the trek concludes where your nature hike began.

Join your guide on jungle trails shaded by towering trees, as you look out for tropical birds and butterflies, and keep an eye out for mammals in the undergrowth. Each step offers a new discovery, from medicinal plants to the lively sounds of the forest around you.

The trek is conducted on a shared basis, with a Forest Entry Permit and two bottles of drinking water provided. Morning departures offer a refreshing start, while afternoon departures provide the added bonus of fading daylight and increased wildlife activity as the jungle awakens to its evening chorus.

Return transfers from selected Langkawi resorts are included. There are no sanitary facilities available along the route, so be prepared for a full immersion in the untouched rainforest.

• Return transfers for this excursion apply only / are inclusive for customers staying along the most popular Langkawi regions i.e. Kuah Town, Cenang, Tengah and Kok. Transfers outside these areas, including any accommodation outside this area such as The Datai, The Andaman, Tanjung Rhu, Four Seasons & St. Regis and from/to Langkawi International airport are excluded. Supplements apply for customers who want to join this excursion outside one of these regions.

• As we trek through pristine parts of the rainforest, we are obliged to inform you in advance that there are no sanitary facilities en route to your final destination available.
• We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
• Natural elements of any kind have a destructive effect on electronic equipment. It the customer’s own responsibility to ensure that any camera, mobile telephone or other device is properly wrapped and protected against these elements. We cannot be held responsible in any way for negligence and/or not following suggestions for any damage related to this.
• Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
• We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the excursion in case of unfavourable weather conditions or situations where we are forced to make alterations to guarantee the safety of our guests.
• The protection of the country’s flora and fauna is of immense importance for us. We will not pursue any activities for guests that are not in line with our animal, wildlife and environment protection principles.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
• During the morning trek, guests will experience the jungle for a period of 3 hours
• It is recommended to wear long trousers and good, closed walking shoes, and bring insect repellent and a small back pack with you.
• Due to the nature of this tour, we regret to inform you that this excursion is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Families with children under this age may be denied participating based on the terms and conditions of this tour.
