Exploring and learning about the mangroves - Our guide Jien was very knowledgeable and provided fun scientific insights about the fauna and flora of the mangrove ecosystem all along. We highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful knowledgeable and ethical experience! - This was one of the highlights of our Langkawi trip and we are grateful to Jien for the thoughtful and informative tour and I think was a superior guide given his background in conservation which I think is uncommon among your operators. We wanted to do the Mangroves but were given pause by the eagle and monkey feedings of other tour companies, which are popular tourist attractions but are really harmful for the wildlife (we saw some monkeys tearing up chip bags tossed from other tours!). So it was a huge plus that Junglewalla is committed to providing a great experience without that. And we actually got to see dozens of eagles and monkeys anyway, so in the end it wasn't less of an experience in any respect. We saw a lot of wildlife from big to small and always felt safe, too. I was happy for Jien that he was able to spot a kingfisher for the first time, which is an incredibly rare bird there! We learned a lot about not just the wildlife but the geology and reasons it's the first UNESCO geological site. For a shared tour it was just three small groups so it felt intimate and like fewer people crammed in than other operators. A perfect last touch was that the calm weather let us have a nice boat ride back around the island, which allowed for breathtaking photos of the island and "Hollywood sign" and I appreciated they only do if it won't be bumpy.

Great guide! - Very happy we did this tour. Our guide Jien was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, really made the tour. We really like the ethical stance of this company to not feed the monkeys and eagles. Shoutout to captain Joe who skilfully steered us through very narrow waterways.

“JungleWalla: How Mangrove Tourism Should Be Done” - A fantastic mangrove safari with Masyi from JungleWalla — funny, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. Our captain was equally impressive: skilful, calm and always considerate of other boats and visitors. Most importantly, JungleWalla does tourism the right way — ethical, eco-conscious and respectful of wildlife, with no feeding or disturbing animals. A brilliant experience with people who genuinely care about Langkawi’s ecosystem. Highly recommended.

Amazing tour, truly sustainable and highly recommended - Did the afternoon tour with Ain — brilliant guide, really knows her stuff. We saw snakes, eagles, monkeys and dolphins. The thing that stood out: Jungle Walla doesn't feed the eagles like other operators do. The chicken skin they use is too fatty and low in protein, so the birds get sick. And fed eagles stop hunting snakes and rats, which means local farmers spray more pesticides — which ends up in the food. There are loads of eagles around anyway, no need to bribe them. If you want to see wildlife without doing damage, this is the one. Thanks Ain — we loved it.

Great mangrove tour, recommended! - This tour and the JungleWalla is highly recommended. We initially booked the wrong tour (with snorkeling) but were able to change to the geopark tour on the same day. Communication via WhatsApp was smooth with our guide Ain. She turned out to be a great host, knowledgeable guide and good photographer. Thanks for everything! The tour was very pleasant since we booked a private boat for our family with 2 small kids. This gives them space to move around a bit because 2,5 hours can be long for the young ones. We saw many great views and animals and are happy with the whole experience. The good thing about this company is that they respect the beautiful nature and do not feed the animals to get them closer. That’s why we chose them. One attention point: we booked directly on their site for the next day. The site lets you select the date and you need to make the payment directly. The next day we got a WhatsApp from the operator to say this date (so that same day) was actually fully booked, as well as the next. So if we could change to 2 days later. For is this was no issue, but if your planning is not that flexible, I recommend getting in touch with them first to check availability. The site does not accurately reflect this.

Finding a sustainable balance between human and animal ecosystems - Today's introduction is "Ain", first of all to thank her in the morning when it rains, to constantly confirm whether the cancellation or change of date due to the rain, afterwards proves that there is no change or cancellation due to the weather (after gradually clearing), really was one of the best decisions and experiences of this trip in Lancashire! This tour introduces us to the red forest and local ecosystems, and understands that behind the popular eagle feeding show in Lancashire, there is a negative impact on the eagle itself, the local ecological chain, and even the nearby farmers. Although the single look price will find a bit more expensive than the prices offered by other shipbuilders, the services provided by JungleWalla, with ecological concepts and philosophies, even the boatman carefully keeps distance from white dolphins, respect and caring without interference, etc., are completely worth the price, no, it can even be said that it is worth it! We also look forward to more people choosing to participate in the activities organized by JungleWalla, so that we can take care of the nature and animals together.
