Fantastic mangrove tour - We chose this company as they strive to be ethical - no unnatural feeding of eagles or monkeys to disturb the ecosystem. Their ethos carried over into sustainable filtered water being offered rather than contribute to plastic pollution. Our guide Jien was knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the entirety of the trip - myself and the rest of my family learnt so much about the mangroves and the animals living within the forest. We were lucky to see eagles, kites, monitor lizards (massive!), a viper, monkeys, migratory birds, mudskippers, two different types of bat - the list goes on. Safety was also paramount - from checking he had the right size lifejacket in advance for my daughter, to ensuring all boat passengers wore one once we reached the open sea. I thoroughly recommend this tour - the wildlife of Langkawi is amazing.

Just the thing - It is a beautiful tour, with 2h a good length to explore the beauty. Masyi was a great tour guide who shared a lot of knowledge with pleasure. Nice was that you can not visit the tourist spots, and enjoy the really beautiful nature. The captain has his ship under control and you feel in good hands all the time. Top!

Awesome is the word!! - We booked through our hotel at Danna. The price was higher than the regular mangrove tour that includes lunch. We love it and we are glad we didn’t take the more generic tour. The guide was so passionate and knowledgeable about the mangroves and wildlife it really rub on us. We learned so much and enjoyed not just the scenery, wildlife but came back with lots of fun fact and knowledge. We saw Monitor lizard, Pit viper, mud skipper, fiddler crabs, monkeys, white bellied sea eagles, brahminy kite, fruit bat and insect eating bats etc. She told us fun fact like mud skipper carrying “water tank” with it while on land, how male fiddler crabs amputates its own claw before it grew bigger and how bald eagle do a death spiral to mate for life. She also showed us the different mangroves like knee mangrove, prod mangrove, buttress mangrove and explained why mangrove is the king of adaptors. It rained heavily towards the end of our tour so we didn’t get to return via open sea. That was unfortunate. Otherwise a perfect boat tour. Please book with Junglewalla and don’t go with unethical tour operators that feed the eagles with chicken skin.

Impressing - We were very impressed. Our guide, Rodhiah, told us a lot about the mangrove flora and fauna. There was a lot we didn't know. It was also wonderful to see the land fish and the eagles at work. We also saw some monkeys along the way, which was very enjoyable. We sailed back from the mangroves via the sea, which was also an experience. A day we will never forget.

Superb eco - conscious tour operator. - We booked two tours with junglewalla as they were the only tour company we could find that didn’t offer to feed the birds whilst touring Kilim Geoforest park. We would highly recommend junglewalla as a professional and well run eco-conscious tour company. They answered questions before the booking; messaged us exact meeting locations to ensure we were fully informed of where to go and what to expect, and during the tours they had such a vast knowledge of the wildlife and ecology of this beautiful land. We were hosted by Rodhiah who was so brilliantly passionate about the ecology; she made the tours fun whilst also very informative and meaningful. The guide and the boat captain helped us spot various species whilst also explaining the ecological importance of the mangrove forests. We also booked the after dark tour to spot some wildlife and were thrilled to spot a number of species before the thunderstorm came in and we had to cut short. We felt extremely well looked after throughout the day - a true highlight for us to visit this special land alongside such a knowledgeable and passionate team. We hope Junglewalla’s slogan of “keep it wild”; inspires all travellers to do the same 🇲🇾 .
