Jungle Trekking Day 1: Hike Through the Jungle, Observe Wildlife, and Reach Camp 1
Bukit Lawang Trekking - Begin the jungle trek at 8 or 8:30 in the morning after breakfast is ready. Ensure all your belongings are prepared before the trek. Storage is available for your bags during the trek.
Start climbing into the national park and reach the border. The trek will guide you through the jungle, allowing you to observe the wildlife and the jungle itself.
Take your time if you spot any animals in the jungle.
Be cautious of your footing. The path will have many roots and uneven terrain throughout the journey. Expect muddy and rugged surfaces along the way, with plenty of ascents and descents, including creek crossings.
Lunch, typically Nasi Goreng, will be provided. Tropical fruits and snacks will be available during the trek.
Proceed at your own pace.
Day 2: Jungle Trekking and Return to the Village by Tube Rafting
Bukit Lawang Jungle - Morning at Camp – Breakfast & Short Trek
Awaken to the sounds of the jungle. The river, monkeys, birds, and other jungle creatures will accompany you throughout your stay.
A light breakfast will be served (pancakes, fruits, coffee). An optional short trek (~1–2 hours) is available to explore more of the jungle and swim at a nearby waterfall.
Return to the campsite by midday for lunch by the river. Prepare to leave the jungle and pack everything.
River Tube Rafting Adventure – Return to Bukit Lawang
Float down the Bohorok River (~30–40 minutes), a fun and refreshing way to return.
Please inform us of your accommodation in Bukit Lawang, and we will ensure you are dropped off at the correct location.
