Your journey will take you into the heart of the jungle at Gunung Leuser National Park, where you can observe wild orangutans.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Bukit Lawang campsite.

Immersive Jungle Trekking

Gunung Leuser National Park - Today, embark on a 6-7 hour trek, where your guide will share insights about the local wildlife, flora, and fauna you may encounter in Gunung Leuser. After lunch, continue your trek to discover more wildlife. With some luck, you might spot the Thomas’ leaf monkey, white-handed gibbon, black gibbon, long-tailed macaque, pig-tailed macaque, hornbills, peacocks, and monitor lizards. Additionally, learn about the trees and plants used in traditional medicine.

During this trek, you’ll spend two nights at different campsites within the jungle.
