Everyone we encountered was nice. The host told us stories about the sloths and even showed us some cute photos of the sloths being silly. She also pointed out and listed all other animals available to be viewed during December. Also dog greeter is best greeter :)

The Sloth encounter was awesome! It was so incredible getting up close and personal and being able to pet Pokey and learn so much about sloths. I really want a sloth baby in 2019! Our guide was AMAZING!! Showed us so much more than sloths and was so knowledgeable and courteous!

The Indian Creek Zoo is an awesome place to go for animal lovers. A smaller zoo, what they lack in sheer volume of animals they make up for in hospitality and one on one encounters with the animals. They also are expanding rapidly, which is great to see and I am excited to come back in the future to see how they are doing. We went in the off season, it was just starting to get cold, so not many visitors which allowed for us to have a very personal tour. This includes that the owner of the zoo tagged along to hang out with us, which was awesome.

The enclosure for the visit with the sloth was a bit cramped for a group of four. It may have been better served in the sloth house where there appears to be more space. Additionally, it was presented on the website that the experience included both Hokey and Pokey, but we only visited with Hokey. The staff were very nice and provided the allotted time to engage with Hokey.
