It is a history and mystery frozen in stone, its soul alive with the rites and awe of Christianity at its most ancient and unbending. Lalibela has one of the highest concentration of Churches of such architectural elegance and overall engineering sophistication in one spot. The 13 Churches in two complexes are said to represent a reproduction of Jerusalem. Their lighting systems, channels, water works, network of interconnected subterranean passageways and the sheer magnitude of the whole project are mind boggling.

Must go on tour!! - This is the best tour ever!!! Well worth the price. Our guide was knowledgable and taught us so much. We even got to see bamboons and visit one of Ethiopias oldest churches. We then hadd a traditional Ethiopian meal and coffee. This is a must tour!!!

Three unforgettable days in Ethiopia with Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel - I had 3 amazing days in Ethiopia, visiting Addis Ababa and Lalibela with Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel, and the experience exceeded all my expectations.
Everything was very well organized from the start. In Addis Ababa, the city tour was smooth, informative and very well coordinated. Lalibela was truly unforgettable. The churches dug into the rock are indescribable, and having the right guide made a big difference.
Our guide in Lalibela, Mr. Fikru, was simply exceptional. His knowledge, passion and clear explanations brought to life the history and spirituality of Lalibela. He was patient, professional and you could tell he really cared about our experience. Honestly, he left me speechless.
The accommodation was excellent, very comfortable, clean and very well selected. I felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout the trip.
I highly recommend Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel to anyone planning to visit Ethiopia. They delivered exactly as promised and more. I would definitely travel with them again.

Excellent Short Visit to Lalibela and Addis Ababa - I had a short but very well-organized stopover in Ethiopia on my way to Mauritius, spending three days in Lalibela and Addis Ababa with Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel.
Everything was handled smoothly from the moment I arrived. In Lalibela, my guide Fikru was outstanding. He explained the history and meaning of the rock-hewn churches in a clear and engaging way, and his local knowledge made the visits feel special. The churches themselves are truly wordless, something you really need to experience in person.
Accommodation in Lalibela at Maribela Hotel was very comfortable, with good service and a great location, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Even with limited time, Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel made sure every day was well planned and relaxed. I really appreciated their attention, reliability, and overall service. I’m very glad I chose them for my stop in Ethiopia and would happily recommend them to anyone visiting Lalibela or Addis Ababa.

Great Job Aman - Thank you so much to Aman and his team for a wonderful experience in Lalibela! Mr. Fikru was an excellent tour guide explaining the history of the stone churches. I thought it was incredible to know they are still holding services within these archaic structures. After flying back to Addis Ababa, Aman added a traditional dinner and folklore dancing for our final night in the country. I will be returning to Ethiopia in the near future and utilize Aman’s services again.

Nothing but praise... - Nothing but praise for my guides and drivers arranged through Aman Ethiopia Tour and Travel. Amanuel arranged a day tour of Addis Ababa followed by a two day trip to Lalibela. The tours exceeded expectations. If your time in Ethiopia is limited, these tours will hit the highlights and not disappoint. Amanuel is very accommodating. I am grateful!

I will definitely contact Aman Ethiopia for my future trips - I had recently taken a tour package of Lalibla & Addis Ababa. Although I decided to proceed with this trip at the last minute with only 1 days for the travel date but Mr. Amanuel managed to arrange everything perfectly in such a short span of time via watsup. I didn't face any problems during those 2 days trip. Really appreciate the effort & keep up the good work. Thank you Amanuel.

Awesome tour! - Really enjoyed the tour! Amanuel arranged everything perfectly. Even when my plans changed, Amanuel took care of it all. Hotel drop offs and pickup were like clockwork. The tour in Lalibela was spectacular. My guide Abebe was born and raised in Lalibela, not only did he know the churches inside and out he also knew the history and background behind them. Amanuel booked me into the cliff side hotel in Lalibela. A very nice hotel with fantastic views! All in all a great tour!!

Superb attention! - Arrange a visit to Ethiopia as a stop on our trip to Madagascar.we have prepared a package for 4 days visiting Lalibela and the city of Adis Ababa.
Amanuel has always been concerned about the group, we suffered a small mishap (hotel fault) and has been solving and resolving effectively.
Definitely recommended!

Interesting Tours Of Danakil Depression , Lalibela ,Awassa With Aman Ethiopia Tours - We enjoyed our tour to Danakil Depreshion with groups from Mekelle , Lalibela in private , Southern parts of Ethiopia(Starting from Tiya – Lnagno-Awassa).Our driver mr Abiy arrived nice and early in all days . Aby is also Very friendly and polite throughout all our tours in Southern parts. Amanuel suggested a perfect itinerary. All was fine to fit into our 7 days tours of Ethiopia and there was no time pressure from Danakil and Lalibela was very interesting and was not pushy in any way. Additionally when we see the southern parts we believed Ethiopia is a land of diversity. AMan himself was very friendly and very helpful he even suggested us to see the Omo tribes but since we heard some good things about Awassa,We decided to visit the lakes and fish markets so for us not bad and rather it was a lovely experiences.
We highly recommend aman Ethiopia tours and his teams for your tour to Ethiopia & we get amanuel reviewed in the trip advisor is correct.

Great experience - My wife and I just finished a three days tour of Addis Ababa and Lalibela through Aman Ethiopia Tours.
Our tour organizer Amanuel was very helpful in providing stress free service and looked after everything from our arrival at the hotel to our departure at the airport. He assisted us by arranging everything like all necessary local flights also provided us with a great local guide Tesfaw Derbie in Lalibela who was born and raised in Lalibela and with great knowledge and passion about the rock hewn churches. He also arranged for us to witness the Sunday church service where we saw hundreds of believers gathering around the churches. The hotel in Lalibela had the most wonderful view to watch the sunrise and set from our balcony.
Upon our return to Addis Ababa, we were guided by another wonderful local guide named Abraham Mamo who was very respectful and attentive to us and knowledgeable during the day tour of Addis. Our driver Abby was very friendly and a cautious driver.
Amanuel also continued to check on us during our tours to see if we were happy with the tours and called again before our departure to the airport to bid us farewell.
We are very thankful with how we were taken care of by Amanuel and his staffs who made our visit a memorable one. We would highly recommend this trustworthy company - a great value for superior service.
