Abune Yosef - The guide and porter will meet you at your hotel at 7 am. After a short walk, you will leave the town, and after a 3-hour hike, you will arrive at the Merabaru Plateau. Lunch will be provided there, along with a long break to take in the breathtaking views of the jagged landscapes and mountains. The trek will then proceed to the second major escarpment known as Ad Mehane Alem. After a substantial break, the journey will continue to Ad Medhane Alem Village.
Explore Wedebiye Abo Village
Abune Yosef - Breakfast will be served in the family hut or tukul house, followed by a hike to Wedebiye Abo Village. Lunch and an extended break will be enjoyed at the Abune Yosef Eco Lodge, before hiking to the Twin Zegits and reaching the highest peak called Rim Gedel (4284m).

Trek to Lalibela Town
Lalibela - After breakfast at the village homestay, the hike to Lalibela Town will commence. During this trek, you will pass through small villages inhabited by local people on the plateau known as Degosach. If fortunate, you might witness farming activities along the way. By around 4 pm, you will arrive in Lalibela Town. Alternatively, if you feel tired, a 4WD vehicle can be used from Yimrehane Kristos to Lalibela Town. Overnight accommodation will be at Lalibela Lodge.
