I absolutely love this place! My only regret is that I didn't discover it earlier in the season. Every person that I have encountered during each of my visits have gone above and beyond, which I appreciate greatly. I plan to continue spreading the word about the shack, though I love that it kind of feels like a local hidden gem. Can't wait for next season!

I really enjoyed my first outing using a SUP, but i must say that i wish something was said to me when i checked in that i could leave some of my important items like car keys, wallet, etc. at the stand. Because being that this was my first time SUP, i fell into the river the first time i tried to stand up not realizing how difficult it would be as a first-timer, and proceeded to lose my sunglasses in the river, wallet soaked through and now my car key buttons don't work at all. So that really was a downer for the day. Also, i clearly needed help learning what to do, and the employees walked away the minute i launched off, so it just felt like i was let to fend for myself for the next hour as i proceeded to constantly fall in the water and not really learn how to stand up on the paddleboard. i spent the hour paddling on my knees.
