Great experience from start to finish. While booking the trip, very thorough expectations were set. Organized when we arrived. Knowledgeable and friendly guide on the water(Miles). Reasonably priced.
Delayed start. We never left until almost 10:00 with a 9:00 start time posted. The guide was great the equipment was great the time factor was the concern
got our money's worth.
I am wondering if you could see more on the half day tour making it just a tad longer? I was really wanting to see the rock that resembles a turnip!
The guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the tour, they made sure to engage with all people on the tour and answer all questions. The route planned was great as it provided great opportunity for pictures. Also I unfortunately had 2 people cancel just before the tour and the staff worked to make sure the spots were filled.
Everyone was awesome and very accommodating. Expect for the gentleman with the gray beard, he needs some better customer service skills.
We had a great time on the half day tour! When I tried to book online there were only 3 places left and we had four people. The lady I spoke to over the phone was great about finding space for us and getting us booked in. The guides who went out with our group were Miles and Joe, both of whom were great teachers, very knowledgeable about the area and funny too! I liked the fact that the half day group was broken into 2 smaller groups with families in one, and people without kids in the other. The only sad part was that we would like to have given a tip to Miles and Joe but we had left our money in the car as we did not want to bring it on the kayak. It would be great if there was a way that the guides could travel with us back to the parking lot so we had a chance to thanks them properly. We would definitely do this trip again next time we are in the UP!
Exceeded my expectations
