Top crew, lots of dolphins no whale - Very friendly Crew, captain handelt the waves perfectly, education officer tried hard to find whales, explained a lot. We saw a lot if different dolphins but no whale (which was the whales fault).

First time Whale Watching, Forever Memory - Amazing experience! We spotted three majestic sperm whales and one Bellini whale during our adventure, and it was breathtaking to see Pico Island from the ocean. The crew and staff were fantastic—friendly, fun, and full of interesting facts about the whales we encountered. The trip ended with a lovely touch: a small glass of aguardente, the local Portuguese moonshine. An unforgettable day!

Fantastic - Impressive how many dolphins we could see. The captain looked very interested in taking us to where the dolphins were and took us from one point to another and we were there for longer than he touched. 3.5h. The guide explained very well.

Excellent whale watching tour - Whale tour company was great, boat was a good size, tour guides were knowledgeable and whale spotters were all ex whale hunters which meant we saw a lot of marine wildlife! Our trip finished in a rain cloud which was unfortunate but not something anyone can control. Overall an excellent experience. Only improvement I would suggest is for the tour guide to explain to passengers that if you ask the boat to slow down you will get wetter…. One of the ladies on our trip asked for the boat to slow down which meant all the waves mist started entering the boat soaking us from head to toe… lesson learnt always take the yellow rain coats they give you prior to boarding

We were lucky to see a majestic blue whale and a pair of fin whales—a mother and her calf. The crew’s passion and dedication made the experience even more special. A team at the top, very nice experience - Super friendly and professional team! Besides the beautiful panorama, we could see 5 species of cetaceans 🤩 Small snack on the way back to land. Not very expensive, I recommend!

unmissable - they told us that in August the probability of seeing animals was really high (95% of outings with sightings). It was like that. The tour with comfortable and fast speedboats lasted more than 3 hours during which we saw many sperm whales and countless dolphins (the dolphins swim and jump around the boat). unmissable

They lost our reservation and wouldn’t let us come on the boat - Horrible, horrible experience with Bella Vista. I called to make a reservation with Bella Vista for a Friday early AM whale watching tour, I called on Monday. The man on the phone said it was confirmed. I drove 45 minutes on Friday thinking I had a spot on the boat, and when I got there they said they made a mistake. Turns out, he forgot to write it down. The owner is incredibly incompetent and just said sorry, I talk to lots of people- I forgot. On top of that, they did nothing to help me secure another reservation. All the other boats were booked and I was SOL. This isn’t a reputable company. Don’t book.
