Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Departure is scheduled for 6 am. There will be a brief stop at the Africana Art Gallery en route for souvenir shopping, followed by arrival at the conservancy through its northern entrance. Visitors will encounter chimpanzees rescued from the black market, alongside a diverse array of wildlife, including possibly the endangered Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe among other species. Around noon, there will be a stop at Serena Sweetwaters Lodge for a delicious lunch. Afterward, the tour continues to the eastern section of the park. Here, visitors will have the opportunity to see the last two northern white rhinos in the world, the gentle and blind black rhino Baraka up close, and many other animals along the way.
The park visit concludes around 4 pm after experiencing the rich flora and fauna of Ol Pejeta. While the unique animals here deserve full attention, don’t forget to look up and appreciate the stunning backdrop of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains, which enhance the magical experience! At the end of the day, guests will be transported to their hotel in Nairobi or to the airport, as preferred. - Equator Marker - This is the imaginary line that divides the Earth into the northern and southern hemispheres.
