  Days 2 and 3: Two full days will be spent in this vibrant and special city. Countless amazing visits and unusual activities await. The itinerary includes the Badshahi Mosque, the Royal Fort, Jehangir’s Tomb, the Wazir Khan Mosque, the spice market, and the Lahore Strait. Enjoy a Sufi musical night, the flag-lowering ceremony at the Wahga border, a countryside visit to experience authentic Punjabi culture, or witness unique professions like “fire haircutters,” street dentists, street doctors, traditional bonesetters, or ear cleaners.
• Peshawar - Travel from Lahore to Peshawar, crossing the impressive Rohtas Fort.
  Days 5 and 6: Explore Peshawar, one of the world’s oldest and most traditional cities, located in Pakistan’s “tribal zone.” Two full days are dedicated to discovering the old city of Peshawar, its ancient houses, bazaars, tea shops, and 370-year-old caravanserais. Experience Sufis smoking hashish in traditional water pipes called Chelum, Afghan refugee camps on Peshawar’s outskirts, and weapon factories.
• Kalasha Valleys - Journey from Peshawar to the Kalash Valleys. Stops will be made in authentic Pashtun villages (still monitored by local police for safety) and the Buddhist archaeological site in Takhti Bhai will be visited. Rest in the Rumboor Valley.
  Days 8 and 9: Spend two full days exploring the Rumboor and Bamburate valleys, immersing in the rich Kalash culture. This mystical animist culture resides in three isolated valleys deep in the Hindukush, near the Afghanistan border. Their origins are uncertain, but they share similarities with Eastern Europe in language, colorful clothing, and cuisine. They honor the spirits of the Sun and Moon, the Mountains, and Nature’s forces. It’s the only place in Pakistan where locally made wine is available.
• Islamabad - Wake up in Chitral to visit the Chitrali bazaar, the royal fort, and the royal mosque. Travel from Chitral to Islamabad to rest in the capital on the final night in the country.
