Best experience ever in Dubai - Well well well many thanks to our agent Zubair and host Zeeshan who looked after us very well.. highly recommended individuals who went beyond and gifted us extras like headscarfs, pic with falcon and announcement for my sons 2nd birthday.. dune bashing man also was very nice and even stopped to let us make a video.. hats off to the team..

Fun in the sand - We did a lot of activities but by far this was our favorite. The ride to the desert was smooth. Then we did camel rides which were fun and also there were the quad cars you could do for an extra cost but our favourite was riding on the SUV with Muhammad Ali. He was an excellent driver and he knew the hills well and made for quite an exhilarating experience. It will get your heart pumping for sure. When he tells you that it was his second day on the job, don’t believe him. Lol. Then we stopped for some pictures in the middle of the desert and also did some sand boarding. What a fun experience it was. The highlight of our trip.

Great experience! Not 4hrs! Quads a must! - Booked the 4 hr version with quad biking as a married couple in our early 50s. Easy booking online to through Get Your Guide app. If you book well in advance you even get the option to reserve your place and payment is taken a few days before. We initially booked the 7hr camp version but were easily able to change by cancelling and rebooking. Pick up is directly from most hotels and easily selected on booking with finer details well communicated via WhatsApp the day before, although our driver was 25 mins earlier than the earliest stated time, messaging us while we were still at breakfast! We were picked up by Mustafiq who was to be our guide for the day. Us and a family of 4 with 2 children around 8-10 age from the same hotel, so no other stops. Transfer took about 45 mins n the same vehicle used for the dune bashing later. Arrival is at the quad biking area. Here there are also shops and stalls and photo opportunities. Before you go any activity you are encouraged to try (and buy) the traditional desert headscarf or Arabic script jewellery or perfumes. We did end up buying a head scarf each after the quad biking as they were only 50 aed (£10) and gave welcome protection in the heat. These shop attendants fit it for you so it won’t come off. You would struggle to get a helmet over it if you bought it before quad biking! Next the quad biking. This is a must! We had booked the 35 min single bikes but were still offered upgrade to longer outside the main compound or use of a Larger ATV at a whopping 850 aed. Honestly, the designated area included is plenty big enough to ride around and get up to top speed on the quad. You get a photo taken at the start which costs 50aed if you want it. Next is the camel ride. 2 to a camel in a train of 3 camels. About 5-10 mins, which we found just enough as it is not comfortable! Guides are happy to take photos using your own phone. Sandboarding is next to the camel ride area. A good steep slope. Stand up or sit on boards. Great fun, even if you fall off and eat a faceful of sand! My headscarf stayed on though! Quite a climb back up! Next off to dune bashing. 20-30 mins expertly driven, good speed at some terrific angles! Nice photo-stop where guides assist in getting the best photos on your own camera. It is then directly back to your hotel. Things to know 1. If you are not doing the quad biking, but you are in a vehicle with those who are you will be waiting around at the first area while they are on the quads. 2. Unlimited soft drinks is 2 different (very tasty) juices and tea / coffee at the arrival area, and water that is regularly offered / available during the activities. 3. Our experience did not last 4 hrs. It was 2hrs 45mins from pick up to drop off. We still thought it was good value for money all the same. 4. There is a 15-20 min stop after the dune bashing for the driver to pump up the tyres of the vehicle. They have to let out air before to drive on the dunes.
