- Praia da Arrifana - The team of certified, experienced, and multilingual surf instructors will guide participants through the fundamentals of surfing using specialized surfboards and equipment at the surf school in the Algarve, situated in the southern part of Portugal.
The experience is customized by selecting surf beaches that align with the participant’s skill level, including renowned locations like Arrifana, Monte Clérigo, or Amoreira. The specific beach will be announced the day before the lesson, taking into account the participant’s skill level and the wind and wave conditions.
During the approximately 2-hour lesson, participants will learn about waves, currents, tides, and equipment, as well as how to paddle and manage the surfboard effectively in the water. The entire trip lasts around 4-5 hours (including the drive to the surf beach). Participants will cherish the excitement of catching their first wave and embarking on a new passion for surfing!

At the start of the surf course, learn about wave characteristics, currents, and tides. Your surf instructor will also introduce you to the basics of surf equipment.
