Much better than we could have expected! - My husband and I are in our 60s, and our private tour with Algarve On Board was absolutely spectacular. Before booking this experience, we had taken a group tour that turned out to be quite frustrating and uncomfortable, with too many people. Because of that, we decided to try a private option, and it was the best decision we made during our trip. We were incredibly lucky—not only because the tour was exclusively for us, but also because Captain Max truly made all the difference. He took us into more sea caves and showed us breathtaking spots along the Algarve coast that we hadn’t seen before. He also shared fascinating stories we hadn’t heard on our previous tour, which made the experience even more interesting. As a wonderful surprise, we were treated to a picnic basket and two bottles of wine included in the boat trip, so we could toast to our tour and enjoy the moment in such a beautiful setting. I’m writing this review because when you don’t know the region, it’s very easy to fall into tourist traps, and I truly want to recommend this company to others. The tour is conducted by the owner himself (Max), which really makes a difference in the quality and care of the experience. Max even offered us extra time at no charge so we could enjoy the sunset, which was simply magical. His music playlist was fantastic and perfectly matched the peaceful scenery around us. In short, this was the highlight of my trip with my husband. We will cherish these memories forever and highly recommend Algarve On Board to anyone visiting the region.

Unforgettable day in the Algarve - It was an unforgettable day in the magical Algarve. I truly recommend anyone to visit this place, with the sunsets and the warmth of nature all around. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you forever. And Max, what can I say. He’s an incredible person who genuinely shows his love and passion for the sea, boats, and the natural world that surrounds it all. He took us to different spots inside the caves that honestly touched the soul. Without a doubt, this is a trip I would do again, and I also wouldn’t stop recommending Max, he truly makes every moment feel special and unique. Thank you so much Max, for this incredible experience. I really hope we get to do it again soon!

Amazing day! - I had an amazing time on the boat trip with Max. From the very beginning he was super friendly and easy-going, and you can tell he really loves what he does. He showed us some beautiful spots, shared fun little facts along the way, and always made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The whole vibe on the boat was relaxed and fun, and Max made the experience feel really personal. If you’re looking to enjoy the sea with someone who’s attentive, chill, and genuinely passionate, I totally recommend a trip with him. Thanks, Max, for an unforgettable day!

Onboard picnic/Amazing sights - Such an amazing experience from start to finish. Max was awesome and very knowledgeable about the local area and much more, he makes you feel very comfortable and safe out in the water! The food was amazing, nice variety of things and very accommodating! He asked if we wanted to play our music but there was no need because he had the best music that perfectly fit the vibes! Great conversations, hospitality and a new friend! Thanks again!

A Five-Star Day on the Water – Sushi, Caves and Charm - Captain Max gave us an unforgettable day exploring the Lagos sea caves. His rib is the Ferrari of the sea — fast, sleek and comfortable — and the sound system made the ride even more exhilarating. Max was attentive throughout, and the WA Sushi experience was outstanding. Our friends visiting from Florida were as overwhelmed as we were. A perfect mix of adventure, music, sushi and spectacular scenery.

Awesome - What an amazing day we had, lovely food and wine & ice cold drinks all included. Max was very knowledgeable of all the places along the coast. He didn’t have another booking after us so extended it another hour. Will be booking another tour next year to see the sunset on the boat. Thank you Max.😎

Must-Do in Algarve! - The picnic on board cruise was absolutely wonderful. Max is a fantastic tour guide and captain (with a perfect song playlist), and showed us the best time. The views of the algarve cliffs are amazing to see by the light of the sunset. Max provided plenty of delicious snacks and great wine. An essential experience when visiting Algarve!
