livinoaxaca highly recommended for tours/drivers - livinoaxaca tours with Jaime and Celeste were very helpful and fun! They booked us with Angel, a terrific guide at Monte Alban. He was knowledgeable, full of personal, family stories relating to the area and adapted to our interests--including finding a place in the shade to sit while our younger group member climbed all the pyramids! While Jaime drove, Celeste gave us lots of information, places to visit, eat and shop in Oaxaca as we wanted to explore on our own. Looking back, I wish we'd also booked a walking city tour with them!

Above and Beyond Mac Tours - On our family trip to Jamaica for Christmas, introducing my almost 4 year old grand nephew to the country of his mother and her family, our original plans were disrupted by Hurricane Melissa and our accommodations were changed from MoBay to Kingston due to the excessively high fares into Kingston.
How to get to Kingston? Family to the rescue who hooked us up with Mac Tours and its owner Andrew. Andrew picked us up at the airport and drove us to Kingston, even offering to stop on the way to get dinner. He became my nephew’s buddy in that drive, the little one chattering the entire trip to Kingston. BTW he had a car seat for him.
On Saturday 12/26 he took us to Frenchman’s Cove for the day, another pleasant day with an awesome driver, Andrew again.
Sadly I don’t have his contact info but he was awesome.

Great. - It was great the guides were nice. We did the activity in off-season so not too many people. We could stop and swim in the middle of the ride top

AHMAZING!!! - Gabriel was a fantastic tour guide. The experience was better than imagined - it was adventurous, beautiful and was one of our favorite (and maybe top) experiences of our 15 days in Portugal - don't miss this one!

Amazing - The tour was fantastic. Our guide, Rafael, was clear, kind and funny. He showed us incredible coastline and caves - in addition to the Bengali Cave. It was the highlight of our time in the Algarve.

Up close and personal - What a Great way to burn some calories and learn, view, enjoy. Rafael was an an excellent guide. Safety was never an issue. His little “extras” were the cherry on top.

Pirate cave is the best 🤩 for parking, trust the instructions from here 👍 - The instructions are clear with regard to parking and meeting time. The guides are great and nice, helping us take pictures, explaining the things we see and telling great stories. The sea is wavy but it's more stable than I thought in the kayak. It's indeed pretty crowded out there with different kayak and boats. The pirate cave is very fun to kayak through! Out of expectations 🤩 and even better than the main Penagil "cave". It's a bit scary to go in with the wave but definitely worth going through! Ah, it's impossible to stay dry and there are a bunch of seaweeds...they have a toilet and shower at the meeting point but we regret not bringing our towels and clothes for change. 😅 They also provide dry bag and a camera monitored lockers (need to bring a lock if you want to actually lock it).
With regard to parking: On the way to the main parking (by the 5euro voucher parking lot), the road is kind of blocked saying you need to be the client of some restaurants so we decided to park near the 5euro parking. It's a voucher for the bar by the beach so it's practically free. However, you need to have cash because the ATM right next to the parking lot charges 5euro (4.99) fee. But we later realize that we should just go past the sign and head to the main parking lot as instructed in the post and it'll be free. Anyway, at least it's somewhat safe parked at a place with a person watching.

Aquaman rules the Algarve - Great half day out. Good value for money. Raphael (Aquaman) led the way.
The only complaint I can have is there are no back rears on the kayaks.

A bad experience - Not recommended, they guarantee you that they will speak in Spanish, the guide does not bother to speak it, is unempathetic, if you are not well physically it is a hard route especially the 2 hours, and apart when you arrive late to the destinations does not wait, you do not know because they speak in English, and they leave, you do not know anything.
At the end of the trip the guide abruptly pulls the kayak and we fall and does not worry about asking if we are okay or even intend to help.
