- Ruta Provincial 11 - Begin your journey from your hotel in El Calafate at approximately 10:00 a.m. to visit the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, situated in Los Glaciares National Park. The trip includes crossing the Magellanic Peninsula, allowing ample time to explore this captivating natural ice formation.
The excursion starts with a stroll through the park’s extensive network of walkways, which covers 4 kilometers (2.5 miles). From various levels and viewpoints, you can admire the glacier from multiple angles, enjoying breathtaking and distinctive views.
You will have 3 hours to explore the walkways, and if desired, you can take a break for lunch, either with a picnic or at one of the nearby restaurants. Following this, you will enjoy a boat ride lasting about 1 hour, getting close to the impressive glacier wall.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will return to El Calafate via the same route, arriving back in the city by the afternoon. Please note, there is no pickup for accommodations without a reception. In such cases, a meeting point near your accommodation will be provided.
