- Isola Palmaria - Palmaria is roughly triangular in shape and covers an area of just under 2 square kilometers. Its peak, known as the “summit,” rises to 180 meters above sea level.
The highest part of the island gently slopes on the northern side (facing Portovenere) and the eastern side (opposite La Spezia). These slopes are adorned with holm oak forests and Mediterranean scrub, interspersed with ancient terraces.
The western side of Palmaria is distinguished by dramatic cliffs of light-colored rock, which cascade steeply into the sea.
The only settlement that can be considered a residential center is Terrizzo, home to about fifty residents. Elsewhere on the island, aside from the influx of summer tourists, human presence is minimal.
- Portovenere - Among the many treasures that Liguria proudly showcases, Portovenere is one of the most cherished. Situated in the Gulf of Poets, close to La Spezia and Tuscany, this charming fishing village consistently draws thousands of visitors throughout the year.
- Grotta di Byron - Byron’s Cave holds a captivating story that continues to intrigue curious tourists today. This sea cave in Porto Venere, which inspired the English poet, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Let’s explore the wonders and curiosities of this enchanting and poetic location.

Manarola - Manarola is a district of the municipality of Riomaggiore, in the province of La Spezia, and is one of the Cinque Terre. It is a truly picturesque village with typical colorful Genoese houses featuring roof terraces that blend seamlessly with the landscape and the rocky promontory overlooking the sea.
The entire coastal area is characterized by hills of olive trees and vineyards, and by kilometers of low walls. Manarola is also renowned for its wine, one of the finest in Liguria, known as Sciacchetrà. - Corniglia - Visiting Corniglia offers breathtaking views of the Ligurian Sea, visible in the distance between the pastel-colored houses and the deep blue sky. The town is connected by 370 steps leading from the Corniglia train station to the historic center. The climb is quite challenging but equally rewarding. However, if you prefer not to walk, a bus provides frequent trips both up and down from Corniglia.
- Vernazza - Overlooking the most genuine stretch of the Ligurian coast and perched on a rocky promontory, Vernazza is a must-see village when visiting the Cinque Terre.
Vernazza is a small gem, a fortified citadel nestled between the sea and the mountains, centered around the small harbor. The pastel-colored houses, churches, small monuments, narrow alleys lined with shops and boutiques, make the town truly breathtaking.
- Monterosso al Mare - A bridge approximately 100 meters long divides Monterosso into two parts: on one side, the residential area (Zona di Fegina) with the central station, a long beach, and some hospitality businesses; on the other, the Porto Vecchio, the historic center of the town crisscrossed by typical narrow streets.
Monterosso is the largest village in the Cinque Terre and offers a perfect blend of history and nature. It boasts charming churches with black and white stripes, typical of Ligurian style, and remnants of past naval battles. Beautiful hiking trails start from Monterosso, such as the famous Via dell’Amore. The town’s iconic symbol is the renowned Giant, an original 14-meter-high statue depicting the god Neptune. For an incredible view, the elevated Capuchin Convent is a must-see.
The remaining time of the tour will be spent transporting passengers between the attractions visited.
