The bus left promptly and... - The bus left promptly and arrived back at port with plenty of time before our departure. It was low season, so the bus was not crowded and we enjoyed a more personal tour with our guide Alessandro. We elected not to pay to enter any of the main museums and had a sufficient amount of time to walk around, have lunch/gelato and see the main sights. The company provides access to an audio guide you can use on your phone as you walk which was helpful (bring headphones). The guide was very clear on meeting points and times and we had no problems with the group as a whole.

Well organized and great guide Alessandro - Clear directions to meet and bus was comfortable. 2 hour ride was long to Florence but Allesandro did a nice overview and poured out sites along the way .
He was patient and quite funny too

Great tour. Although it... - Great tour. Although it was supposed to be primarily transportation our guide, Allesandro, went above and beyond with aiding in finding places and providing information. We wished we had more time, there was so much interesting to see.

Disappointment - What’s not what I expected. To be dropped off at a bus station and then given directions to the museum on our own. Then to wait for another guide to hand us our tickets, and there was a big mixed up on our time to go in, with the guide arguing with the museum personnel, so he told us to wait in the line, and proceeded to leave. Then we had a map to get back to the bus station.

Mixed - The walk from bus drop off to the attractions is over a mile and should be disclosed. WiFi was not available on the bus as promised. Bus was comfortable and clean.

Not enough time. - Not enough time to explore Florence. We aren’t due back to the shop until 7 ET but the tour brought us back at 5 ET - disappointed we could explore more. We did tickets to the academia and it was right in between so we could venture far before we had to run back to the meeting spot. If you want to see and tour, then you likely won’t have time to do a nice lunch/taste the cuisine or go shopping.

No WiFi on a 4 hour bus ride that was advertised to have WiFi. - Advertised as free WiFi on the bus to Florence. There was no WiFi for a 4 hour trip. I emailed Viator about this and did not receive a response.

Bad experience in Florence - We are not happy about this trip due to following reasons:
1. I travelled with my parents both over 80yrs old. The tour delayed 45 mins start which they have to standing outside of the terminal waiting.
2. The tour guide English has too strong accents and talk fast which we have no idea what she’s talking about
3. The whole entire tour only allowed us 10 mins taking photos from each spots. 10 mins up, tour guide just left does not even care if there’s people coming back or not. She’s careless of customers which is not good customer service.
4. It was heavy rain that day when we at Florence. The pick up time is 4:40pm and we are running little late so my parents need to walk very fast to catch the bus, but they can’t because they’re 80yrs old, so I have to to run to catch the bus and ask them to hold it, eventually my parents able to make it but almost cause them heartache because of the rushing as they don’t want to miss the bus as the tour guide won’t waiting for the people.

Bad communication…No tour! - We did not go! Communication was poor. Never received an email. Called company the day before and supposedly they resent e mail. Never received. "What we have here is a failure to communicate." - I would never recommend this tour operator. They suck at communicating with potential customers.
Having booked both tours; one with transportation only and one with guided tour, I inquired as to which would provide the opportunity to rejoin the group after doing another guided tour to the Accademia. They only responded with a suggested time to tour the Accademia, not the tour they were hosting that would provide the best opportunity to travel from the port, get to Florence and see the Accademia and guaranteed return to port. I cancelled both bookings and booked another tour instead.
Traveling by cruise ship with specific arrival and departure times are critical when booking "off-ship" excursions so communication is paramount. This company apparently didn't feel the same.
