• Isla Catalina - Spend the day scuba diving in the warm turquoise Caribbean waters off the coast of Catalina Island, one of the best dive locations in the Dominican Republic. The day consists of a 2-tank dive to the St. George wreck and a shallow coral garden reef followed by a deli-style lunch and open bar on the beach. Places that are visited: Catalina Island The Aquarium (first dive) The Wall (second dive Beach on Catalina Island The wall In the eastern part of Catalina Island is what we call “El Muro” or “La Pared”, where we will dive to a depth of 25m (those who have PADI, those who do not have a title, will only be able to go down to 12 meters). The aquarium We will do another dive in El Acuario, the coral reef that surrounds Isla Catalina. This dive is at a shallow depth, between 3 and 6 meters, and we will be able to see a colorful scene of corals and colored fish. Beach on Catalina Island After diving, we will go to our beach, where we have loungers and a food buffet and we can enjoy a pleasant swim in those crystal clear waters.

Description

For those without a professional diving certificate, the package includes guidance from an instructor. If you possess a PADI certificate, our instructors will guide you to the best spots to maximize your diving experience.

During this diving excursion on Catalina Island, participants will enjoy two dives:

1. “El Muro” - This is one of the most fascinating sites, where divers will descend through a vibrant underwater garden at an average depth of 3 meters. This area is adorned with sponges, corals, and a variety of colorful tropical marine life, leading to an impressive wall that plunges over 100 meters deep, with initial steps at 25 meters and then at 40 meters.

2. “El Acuario” - Thanks to its excellent weather conditions, divers can easily explore the underwater wonders and discover remnants of artillery from ancient colonial shipwrecks.
