• San Pedro Prison - This is the designated meeting spot (we gather in the square), where participants will learn about the notorious San Pedro prison. Following this, the tour proceeds to the San Pedro neighborhood, including a visit to “the Averno,” a former illegal bar known as “Cementerio de Elefantes,” a notorious spot where homeless individuals spent their final days. Here, participants will discover urban legends from La Paz.
• Mi Teleferico - The group will take the cable car to El Alto, enjoying the stunning city views during the journey.
• El Alto - After taking the purple and silver lines of the Cable Car, the tour visits “La Ceja,” regarded as the most dangerous area in both El Alto and La Paz. Here, participants will learn about “Justicia comunitaria,” where locals take justice into their own hands due to the absence of authorities. Additionally, a “fun fact” about the presidential medal and nightclubs in this area will be shared.

• Mi Teleferico - Upon returning to La Paz, participants will admire the incredible murals, street art, and dramatic landscapes of this diverse city. The tour includes a walk around the Cementerio General neighborhood, where participants will learn about the “informal economy.” The tour will also view “Barrio Chino” from a safe distance, a street considered one of the most dangerous in La Paz.
