Great tour, highly recommend! - Four of us did the foodie walking tour with Red Cap and we had a great time. Our guide Matteo (Matt) was fantastic and also had a wicked sense of humour. The variety of food available to try is great. Highly recommend!

Great food tour - Great food options from street food, cafe and restaurants. Food was explained to the group, its origins and why it was important. All the food was delicious. Our guide was friendly, bubbly and easily answered all questions.

Interesting tour with some great food! - This was a fun experience and a great introduction to Bolivian food and culture. The guide, Matt, was FABULOUS! He's so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and open to sharing what he knows and thinks of Bolivia. The only negative is that the meeting point is unclear. In the email, I was told to meet in one place, but the actual meeting point was somewhere completely different. Luckily, I contacted the company and they responded quickly.

Amara, our guide, was a... - Amara, our guide, was a great host! Very knowledgeable and friendly. The range of food we had was really good. My only flag is that the description of the tour makes it sound like you’ll try lots of different beers and drinks on the tour along with the food. We had 1 beer at the 4th stop and 1 cocktail at the last stop. This is more of a food tour than a food & drinking tour.

I wish I'd had a more... - I wish I'd had a more enjoyable time on this tour, I love a food tour! I debated giving it rating of 3. It unfortunately just wasn't terrific - the guide was nice but not terribly interested in giving much information, and the spots chosen were just fine (and one was soup, which wasn't easy to split amongst strangers.) Maybe it was just an off night for the tour; I took another tour with the same company and it was great! :)

Great food tour - This tour was a good intro to the food of Bolivia, taking us to places, and offering us dishes we wouldn’t normally have tried. Our guide had great English and shared lots of interesting info on Bolivian traditional foods and the changes that occurred to people’s diets with colonisation. Worth noting that there was no beer on the tour, despite the name! We were a little disappointed by this as we had wanted to try some local beers - but the cocktail we had was delicious!

Very disappointing! - They ran a Beer and Food Tour on the eve of a national election. knowing that alcohol can’t be served during this time. The tour guide was monotoned and didnt really engage with the group. She also got free food at each stop, so did we go to each stop because of the free food for her or because it was really the best food? Overall the tour was very disappointing and misleading as they couldn’t deliver what they sold.
