Wonderful family day - Great family experience. We enjoyed the boat ride and lunch on the beach. Swimming with a whale shark was an awesome experience. Pablo and Marco were great. Pablo shared facts as well made it clear how respectful to the environment Tuna Tuna is.

La Paz Whale Shark and Sea Lion Snorkel - Amazing experience! I have snorkeled all over the world but swimming with whale sharks is truly majestic. If you are lucky enough to come to La Paz in the right season. Whale shark sightings are not guaranteed but they make the best attempt. I also appreciate the concern and care they put in to make sure we don’t injure or stress the animals as well. If you are not a good swimmer or disabled like my husband you’ll be able to get a glimpse as it swims by. However, I was able to swim along for a bit and the views were amazing. I can even see tiny fish swimming along the shark’s dorsal fin. Our guide Stephanie clearly knew what she was doing and she explain every step of the experience. We really appreciate how she explained all the safety needs and what to do. There were 4 of us and everyone enjoyed the experience. The other snorkel around the sea lions was nice and the beach lunch was serene and peaceful. One thing to note. It was a requirement that everyone wears their life jacket when swimming with the sea lions as a safety precaution, but wasn’t needed with the whole sharks. Juan, the captain, and Stephanie, the guide, were amazing and kind. I highly recommend this for everyone who enjoys snorkeling.

Excellent 6 hours taken care of by Stefany y Juan - We chose this tour to sea both the whale sharks and the sea lions in one day. You have to know ahead of time that seeing the whale sharks is a *brief* experience, meaning the boat will get close to where the whale shark is then you go into the water with the guide and he/she will say “head down” to view it. You might see it for a split second or if you’re very lucky, you’ll see it for a few minutes while swimming alongside it. Depends on how lucky you are and also how fast you can swim. Stefany was amazing as a guide , patient and yet very knowledgeable! Spoke good English although the boat driver Juan didn’t speak any English. After the whale shark sighting, we headed to another area (island called San Rafaelito) to see the sea lions. They are plentiful and aren’t afraid of us humans. However they caution against getting too close as some can get protective of their offspring. After the sea lions sighting we headed to Balandra beach for lunch. What was quite impressive was that everything we needed our picnic was on our boat : food , drinks, cooler, umbrellas, stools for sitting, etc. Stefany set it all up on her own or with minimal help from Juan. They had tasty ceviche , burritos and fresh fruit. The total in the boat was ten passengers and I personally made sure no ceviche was left over.

Fun tour! Great memories - Very pleasant tour! We were just 4 of us. Special thanks for the delicious lunch at the Balandra beach. Snorkeling with sea lions was a lot of fun. We found a whale shark which was moving slow enough. I wish the visibility had been better. We enjoyed the experience!

Whale sharks and ceviche - We had a fabulous time on the snorkeling tour. Our guide Pablo was knowledgeable and helpful, as was the boat captain (whose name I unfortunately can’t remember). Whale sharks are always magical and the lunch at Balandra was delicious.

Amazing tour from start to finish - We had such an amazing time with Tuna Tuna Tours from start to finish! We were staying in San Jose, and they connected us with a transportation company to get us back and forth to/from La Paz. Stephanie and Juan were our guides for the tour and they were amazing - kind, funny, extremely knowledgeable and kept safety as the number one priority. We were amazed by the experience of swimming close to such enormous creatures. Swimming with the sealions was also so cool, and Balandras was amazingly beautiful. I highly recommend this tour!

Core memory - The trip was quite special because of the time of year, we saw just about all you can see in the bay. The whales were very active and our captain was able to get us as close as legally possible to them. The sea lions were very fun and were actively engaged in what we were doing. Once lunch time came, we were taken to an amazing cove with tropical blue water where the boat was beached and we had plenty of time to enjoy the water and incredible, home made, burritos and ceviche. After lunch we went searching for the whale sharks. Once we found them, we were able to swim with them a few times and enjoyed their presence. Our guide was perfect, knowledgeable, confident, calm, and great attitude. He made the trip very memorable for our whole group.

Whale Sharks, Humpbacks, Sea Lions, and Porpoises.... oh my! - Amazing experience with our Guide Jaime and Captain Corey out for a full day with our private group of 8 from La Paz - catching a glimpse of a variety of sea life. We swam with several whale sharks - with the last one in super clear water - absolutely thrilling. Jaime made sure we all had a chance to keep up and swim along with these gentle giants, giving us a whip or boost to catch up. On the way to Isla Espiritu Santo, we saw some humpback whales (a mom and her calf) and snorkeled through the clear waters amongst the sea lions and tropical fish near Los Islotes. An unexpected highlight on the way to our delightful beach lunch - we spotted a "super-pods" of thousands of dolphins (bottlenose, common). Excellent day - topped off with a few cold Pacificos!
