Try it, you learn fast. - At 64, I may be kinda old for this, but I'd never tried it before and I'm totally happy I went. Carlos provided good instruction and different boards depending on whether we were sitting or standing, what slope we were on, and how fast we wanted to go. If you like to try new things, this is a no brainer. After lots of bunny slope practice, I finally got up enough nerve for the long, steep slope, standing, and made it to the bottom before crashing. Awesome! And to top it off, Carlos took great videos and didn't miss anything. I have a wonderful memory I can share!

Sand boarding - It was awesome and our Hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots of fun. Weather was perfect, over castle and not to hot.

Christmas Day Family Fun! - Sandboarding on the Mogote Dunes was a ton of fun! Our guides, Juan Carlos and Estrella, from Best Baja Tours were awesome! They picked up our family of 6: My husband, myself, and our four kids, ages 12 to 15 years, drove us out to the dunes, and taught us how to wax and ride a sandboard! If you know how to skateboard, surf, or snowboard, it will be an easy transition to riding the dunes! Walking back up the dunes was very tiring, and the sand heated quickly in the direct sun. We ended up taking off our shoes and sandboarding in our socks. It felt more comfortable that way, and until the sand got very hot, the warm sand felt nice! We also rode the sandboards sitting down, and that was fun too! Juan Carlos and Estrella took great videos of our many attempts, successes, and wipe outs! They provided us with crisp, cold bottled water and sliced oranges under a shade canopy when we tired out and needed a break! All in all, it was nice way to spend a couple of hours goofing off and having some family fun! The view from the dunes toward the Gulf of California was also a nice treat! We would definitely do this again with Best Baja Tours to take a break from all our ocean-themed La Paz excursions! Thanks for a great time!

Epic adventure! - We had a fantastic experience sandboarding! Everything was well organized and our kids had a blast. They went above and beyond and took pictures and video for us which included drone footage and even a 360 camera video. Riding in the jeep on the beach from the dunes at night was the icing on the cake for a fun adventure. We will definitely do it again!

Perfect evening activity - We booked this one through Viator but I recommend going directly through them instead. I had to call to confirm (Viator issue not them). Picked us up at our hotel, beautiful drive once outside the city. Equipment and lessons for newbies included, accommodating different levels of difficulty. Beautiful sunset and cold beverages to wrap it up.

Spectacular!! - It was amazing the tour with Juan Carlos, he is expert in this and always took care of all the details so that we felt comfortable and safe. The landscapes are breathtaking and it is very worth having this encounter with nature. Juan Carlos always takes care of the environment and does not get contaminated.

Of the best activities you will not regret in Peace - The experience was incredible, guided by Juan Carlos, a person who makes you very pleasant the activity and is originally from the place knows perfectly the grounds, we recommend to do the tour for the afternoon schedule , for the sunset, the photos come out beautiful, if you are doing any tour in Baja and you like the fun and new, clear and taking into account that every time you slide , when climbing again , you need if you are willing to make some physical effort to fully take advantage of the activity. Highly recommended. 💯
